Yeah, mostly older stuff with me but I like some stuff from the '80s - today too. But I love early ska, rocksteady, roots, and dub from the '60-80s. Anything Lee Perry or King Tubby worked on is a go.
Yeah, I'm feeling lazy tonight, but goddamn if Gene Clark hasn't turned into one of my top 3 singer/songwriters of all time since I started to listen to him a few years ago. It seems like every year since then, I've gotten into at least one of his albums per year that would have to change my top 100 (or 300 as it was) favorite albums list.
SupeЯfuЯЯyanimal, I liked it, but I stand by it being slow- not in a bad way though. Between that and Belle & Sebastian I'm having a very relaxing afternoon.
I've always loved the harmony vocals on "Comin' Apart At Every Nail." They're not really good by any means. It's kind of how I love Cary Ann Hearst's vocals, who is a very talented singer BTW.
I'm going to take this CD out to the car now to play during my evening errand run.

That's how I feel about the whole album. I don't love it, but it serves a purpose somehow. I just picked it up on vinyl since it was 8 bucks damn near mint.
