Man, what a great record. I think the thing that really gets me is that, while I consider "Illinois" a modern classic, "Adz" bears almost none of the elements that I love about that one. It's beautiful and powerful and big and small. To start from scratch, with all new ingredients, and make something just as great is a true artistic achievement. Thanks, Mr. Stevens.
