I'm kind of backwards in that The Eraser was my introduction to Thom Yorke/Radiohead, so it might be that, but this is incredibly listenable. Lovin' this so far.
And clearly you aren't a rapist (I hope) but the way you pop into any thread where a woman happens to be lamenting her lack of ride to Bonnaroo and tell them to come hop on your bus sounds extremely rapey.
I'm not entirely sure how I feel about Amok yet. It might be all too similar for me to love it or claim album of the year as some people prematurely have. Man, but Before Your Very Eyes is one badass opener.
I also really like Unless.
and the title track.

This again. A lot of you guys would really like this, real slick, cool R'n'B for the How To Dress Well generation. This is poppier though, in a good way.

Yea, the Album of the Year thing is wayyyyy premature. There's stuff released this so far this year that I'll listen to more/will rank ahead of AMOK for sure.

I like the whole thing. But I agree, Album of the year? It's way too soon to make that kind of assumption.

A lot of it does blur together if you listen to it in one sitting. Before You Very Eyes, Judge Jury and Executioner, and Ingenue have started to stand out for me. Honestly it sounds like a seriously dance-able Radiohead, closer to the likes of Feral, Identikit, and Staircase. I do love it, but I'm not sold on it being the album of the year, hell not even album of the month. February 2013 has been the best month I can remember. Autechre, Apparat, Nick Cave, Jim James, Atoms for Peace, My Bloody Valentine, Grouper, Foals, and I still haven't listened to Pissed Jeans, Iceage, or STRFKR.

October 2012 puts this month (and any month) to shame for me. Flying Lotus, Tame Impala, GY!BE, Kendrick Lamar, METZ, Andy Stott, Daphni, and Titus Andronicus all released some of my favorites from last year.
