Totally great. It feels utterly timeless, really. I love the fact that Shorter keeps his improvisations tethered to a relatable melody, subtly touching down on it from time to time. It's got a really solid balance. I am sure you will like it. Anything else new in the jazz world I should be aware of?
Edit: There's also some pretty stunning work on "Pegasus," during the middle of which, someone (not sure if it's a band member or audience member) audibly says, "Oh my god!"
Pegasus is fantastic. It's the drummer, Brian Blade, who calls it out, I think.

I need some Nick Cave in my life. Just watched the Proposition again and realized that I haven't gotten any of his stuff since the last time I watched that movie and thought "I really need to get some Nick Cave stuff"
