I really like the album even if the stories behind it probably overshadow the finished product more (since it was recorded during Lennon's lost weekend). But it's got some great covers (Subterranean Homesick Blues, Rock Around the Clock) and a couple great originals (Don't Forget Me, All My Life). It's definitely worth checking out.
Oh...and The Walkmen did an entire cover of the album a few years back that's also worth checking out.

I put that Raglani album off for way too long. F*cking incredible. I've always enjoyed Of Sirens Born, but I thought he was just in the upper end of the B-tier for kosmische synth dudes. Real Colors is just flat out wonderful, though. That could have been my AOTY if I'd heard it a few months ago.
