Edit: all joking aside, it saddens me to see no one cares for The Fall.
Everytime I've listened to the Fall, I really enjoyed it. I just don't know enough about their catalog to be claiming a "like" for some of the albums you post. I have a rule about liking something in Now Playing: I must have listened to that particular album before and actually enjoyed it. I don't "like" an album I have not heard just because I like other albums by that band. FYI though, everytime I see you or anybody post the Fall, I swear to myself that I need to listen to them more.
I like based on the same rules as monster, exceptions being new leaks and streams by artists I like that I didn't know we're out yet.
I agree with this, completely. You'll see me like just about any Modest Mouse album before Good News... and nothing from that album on, with maybe the exception of that last EP. That's pretty much the reason... love the band, but don't like that album (or those albums, I guess). I guess I should have specifically said that I was surprised there was such little love for that particular album.
And, yes, do invest the time and energy into The Fall. The first decade and a half in particular is just straight brilliance, and the last couple of albums they've released have been (in my eyes) overlooked gems.

I have the same rule. Which is why I didn't "like" any of the Bowie postings for a few days until I had a chance to listen to it also.
Sometimes, if it's something I haven't heard at all, I'll go listen to it and if I like it, I'll go back and like whoever's post prompted me to try it.

I can't stop listening to this album. That guitar tone in "Unto The Breach" is seriously so good. I don't know if I've ever heard anything like that before from Clutch. I'm so impressed by this album, I think its amazing that one of my absolute.favorite. bands of ALL-TIME. Is still getting fucking better.
