1-1-12 Bassnectar NYE SHOW! 1-21-12 G. Love and Special Sauce 3-1-12 Radiohead 3-9-12 Experience Hendrix 5-15-12 Jack White @ The Ryman 6-7-12 Bonnaroo 6-19-12 Roger Waters presents "THE WALL" 7-7-12 Ringo Starr's 72nd Birthday Party Extravaganza at the Ryman
Need I recant the saga of how I got to this show in 2010 in Chicago it all started with a run through Shakedown at Bonnaroo( I had gotten my ticket well in advance and knew for a fact I was going because I had seen Pink Floyd without Roger in the 90's several times in 99 and 2000 and again in 2006. And B it was on my birthday. And C I knew they had sensory deprivation tank rentals in Chicago I had been before. For those of you who can translate "Lononess" I beg a question. What the quack happens when you throwdown on your birthday going to see "THE WALL" with Shakedown goodies, playing "Altered States" meeets "Fear and Loathing" in a MKULTRA type experiment not to make the worlds greatest assassin but to make the most ultra-religious concert experience ever? Upon walking out of the United Center who's moto was "WELCOME TO THE MADHOUSE" right there in the rafters above "THE WALL" what do I see people like me! I see several Bonnaroo shirts and a strange group of cats who had on corrupted Yield sign T-Shirts that said "FUCK WORK" upon me asking them they said they made them for Burning Man. Perhaps Scrog can shed some light since I know he goes. Might even have some pictures I can send him on Facebook to inquire further. Needless to say after all of this madness my friend Laura asked me "Will you remember any of this?" and I replied "that show is now burned into my brain like a quacking laser". I remember the whole show 100% but the whole point is in this sick twisted experiment is that it now requires positive re-enforcement. And yes I am working on my Masters in Psychology and yes I realize the gravity of what I did the one x-factor was the 3dishness of the show I had not calculated on that. I was fearful of my brain burning out at some points during the show. However with no after effects I can safely say that repeating the experiment will add to the validity of my results. Science must be repeatable by general public I am jus sayin' in the age of hashtaged tweetin'. Unfortunantly no sensory deprivation tank in Nashville (as of yet I do have plans to change this soon God's willing some sort of financial windfall will fall my way though probably not in time for this experiment to be fully realized twice we can summon will but it must move creation in order to be potentiated into existence I hope on that note I am pure of thought) but needless to say two weeks after Bonnaroo a beast of a man will be unleashed upon downtown Nashville with a serious crew in tow! Ask Scrog or Krunchykat or Sugarhighme. My peeps might not get on Inforoo but there will be a salty seasoned crew there in tow. "WHO WILL DRINK OF MY KOOL-AID" p.s. please do not miss "THE WALL" it is awesome and at some points I was moved to tears it was so good Roger uses his money to help out lots of charities and political prisoners and makes us aware of their plight through his work. It will be a rela shame if it is not done at Bonnaroo might be the first "educational" concert a wook will ever see as it is shocking and not what everyone thinks it can be interpreted many ways. But if you do not see it at Bonnaroo go see it somewhere else and take some friends there will be memories made at it that will last a life time. I am now counting down for it like I was counting down for Bonnaroo since they are in the same month = roughly 8 months CHEERS! And yes my year is starting off awesome with Bassnectar now if I can just slide in Radiohead at some point this year will be epic in so many ways! And yes I have considered leaving Bonnaroo on Sunday this year to see "THE WALL" in Louisville KY but I feel something special and epic is brewing for the farm this year my old bones say so and with the plate I am fixing at the buffet of life for 2012 wich some say is the last year why not have a last meal?
Lono, you've been gone for too long. I think I lost my interpretation capabilities. What show did you go to in Chicago, I was there twice during his stay, and I must agree this is the best show I have ever seen, and will probably ever see.

Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. It's a crap shoot as to which is better. I'll have my "ticket procurement agent" find out.
Druid, have you heard anything? I would like to get the tickets earlier (on sell at box office before TicketMaster) hoping for better seating, but if it's a total crap shoot I'll wait and get them online.
this article makes it sound like he has an outdoor and indoor set up, so multiple set up could mean he could be at roo? ( I hope so! but not really expecting it)
Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly looking forward to this. But I definitely see the irony in a guy singing about "the machine" while charging $200+ for floor seats. Kind of defeats the message of the whole thing
"All in all, the creative act is not performed by the artist alone.. the spectator brings the work in contact with the external world by deciphering and interpreting its inner qualifications and thus adds his contribution to the creative act." -- Marcel Duchamp
OK, so since I pretty much emptied my bank account to get me and the kids to Hawaii, I have to sell my Waters Orlando tickets. If anyone wants them, let me know. I will be putting them up on Ebay soon. Face value (466)
I have 2 tickets for the Nashville show I need to sell. I'm broke and have decided to sell my waters tickets to help buy Roo tickets. This will be my 5th consecutive Roo! Please help me keep the streak alive! Section 308 row N. $180 (they are going for more after taxes and fees). Send me a pm if interested.
