I don't know how long this will remain on Youtube, but someone managed to sneak a JVC Everio and film the entire Jan. 14th Reno show in 720p. Hope some of y'all that are not able to make the tour (here's looking to you CursedLono) are able to enjoy it before it is inevitably removed :-)

I'd love to watch this but I don't want to spoil the show before I see it. hopefully the video sticks around a while
^ We'll figure something out. I'll try to leave work early that day...will keep y'all posted. Drinks are ALWAYS a fabulous idea! We girls need our ciders.
There is a Carrabba's right by the hotel, or there is a place called Marlow's Tavern pretty close. I vote for the tavern!! Depending on when Cindy can leave, I plan on being at the hotel by around 3-4pm and plan on being at the bar not much later
If anyone else is going to the show and wants to meet up with us, let me know!

So close I can taste it. I'm really looking forward to this show.
Does anyone think this could potentially be the last shows they do? I've heard reports that there's quite a bit of tension between Maynard and the rest of the band. Maynard has been busy with other projects and Tool seems very low on his list of priorities these days. To be quite honest, before this tour was announce I was afraid I wouldn't get another chance to see them.

if that's the case, i would be so happy i made the almost 2 hour drive to see them on a night where i have class at 8 AM, though those reports wouldnt surprise me if they were true

No, this will not be the last Tool shows. They had a big announcement last month (or December maybe?) and it suggested they've already finished studio work on a new album to be released within the next year.

Dude! Were you on the floor toward the back wearing the dark blue 'Roo '07 shirt? I wasn't sure since none of us know you! Oh well - hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
My parter and I, a 5 time Roo-er herself, were in row B of the 119 section. We ended up getting to the show RIGHT before Tool came on. About 30 miles away from the arena we blew a tire and rode a spare the rest of the way. Regardless of the shenanigans however that was a truly memorabile experience!!! I never thought I'd see Hooker, Sober or 46&2 live, I'm still floating off the musical high this morning :-)

We should get some interesting info about the new album throughout those though (maybe even song snippets?). I wouldn't go even if i could, but i can't wait to scour /r/toolband about it.
