Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
The District Attorneys. They're another great alt-country band from Athens, Georgia like the Futurebirds from last year. They have two magnificent EPs on their Bandcamp site for free. So no reason to not check them out.

After re-reading my post, I did sound like an ass. Stoner music can be good, but after listening through the bands you suggested, everyone felt like it fit into the "stoner rock" category. No offense meant.

St. Vincent is still a mid level act though. ;D
You called someone out on a BONNAROO message board to tell them their music is to "stoner-y"? You have been to Bonnaroo before right?

Actually no, I haven't been to Bonnaroo yet. This is going to be my first year. I know there are druqs there though.....
Would go over really well I think...just freaking listen to "The Well". Incredible.
Alabama Shakes too, but they've gotten so much buzz in the last month or two that they can't be considered unknown anymore. Still, they will blow the freaking roof off roo guaranteed.
Agreed! And mad props to ya on your good taste. I just recently discovered Adam Arcuragi, thanks to Bob Boilen @ NPR Music. (Don't you just want to sit in a pub and drink & talk music w/that guy?) He played AA and Alabama Shakes on the same podcast episode this month, I believe.
Anyway...you'll find that around here, several Inforoosters (ZappBrannigan, Garageland & NoAge in particular) really stay on top of the emerging artist scene. Usually when I discover a new artist/group, I visit their Facebook page. And I'll be damned if 8 times out of 10, one of those guys has already liked the band. But not this time. I think you beat both of 'em to the Arcuragi bandwagon. Relish the moment. It won't happen often!
edit: sorry dude, I confused you w/the new guy (ArchStanton) who just joined! didn't realize you've been here a while.
Milo Greene - I saw this band open for the Civil Wars in December. They are basically 4 singer/songwriters from LA that formed a band. They are due to have their debut album out this spring some time.
