Is there any way to stream Carl Craig's Verus? It was on NPR First Listen but I didn't get a chance to listen before they took it down and it's not on Spotify =/

Jeez Chicago is stacked this weekend: Actress, Ben UFO b2b Pearson Sound b2b Pangeaa and Palms Trax all at smartbar.
I'm pretty excited for Ben UFO, I don't know who Actress or Palms Trax are though. Not looking forward to my hungover drive home to surprise my mom for mother's day after Ben UFO though lol

Honest question, how are you so aware of Ben UFO that you're excited to see him play, and yet ignorant as to who Actress even is? Not a dig at you at all, I'm just curious how you've never run across Actress at least in name or whatever.
Palms Trax is more understandable, he was one of the old Lobster Theramin guys, though he moved to Dekmantel a couple years back I think and has started to get more exposure. He's pretty great, I played the hell out of In Gold a couple years ago.
I remember reading about Ben UFO before, and my buddy has sent me some of his sets and I really enjoyed them. I guess no one has ever mentioned Actress to me, most of the DJ's I listen to are names I read here or people IRL mention to me.
Yo, so next weekend on the 20th The Saunderson Brothers play at this nightclub I've heard great things about and have been wanting to check out for awhile. However, I looked to see who was playing at Smart Bar since it's closer to me and I'm lazy and don't like to travel far if it isn't necesssary, and it's this girl named Avalon Emerson. I was clicking around through one of her sets and heard some pretty killer songs, including a nasty remix of On The Regular by Shamir that I thought was amazing. Is she worth checking out more and potentially skipping The Saunderson Brothers? That nightclub will still be there obviously, but if she isn't that good live or anything I won't waste my time with her.

The Saunderson Brothers are fairly easy to catch and aren't as good as their father, so I'd go with who you're digging.

Palms Trax is the shiiiiit. Look up Equation by him.
Carl Craig and Len Faki on back to back nights in LA in June Plus I'm seeing Matrixxman, Speedy J, O [Phase], Marcellus Pittmann, and Shanti Celeste over the next 2 months. Most likely going to Tiga b2b Danny Daze all night tonight.
Didn't think he'd top his last Boiler Room but wooooow this is good, it's all world music, foreign funk/soul/disco, at the beginning and then breaks into Louie Vega/Frankie Knuckles soulful house at the hour mark. This is one of the best sets I have heard in a while.
Something's going on. Maybe a live stream of one of his upcoming dates?
Aphex Twin subreddit dug into the code and found it may be alluding to a stream of his Field Day set. Speaking of, the stage he's playing has an insanely good lineup:

Yeah I saw that, I hope that turns out to be true.

Update: I ended up seeing Avalon Emerson, I won free tickets so it was a pretty choice. She puts on a fun show, I'd definitely see her again given the chance.
For those in Chicago, when I saw Ben UFO and Avalon the bass in Smart Bar was noticeably higher since I started going. I wasn't sure if it was a permanent thing or not until I won tickets to see this girl named Lauren Flax (who was also pretty fun, but I was really tired so I didn't stay long) this weekend and it wasn't as loud. For Ben and Avalon it was rattling drinks off of ledges and everything, it was awesome lol.
World Music, some alternative, disco, funk, soul, foreign disco and funk, house, and everything in between. 6 hours is a doozie but it's not hard when you split it into two 3 hour listening sessions.
