Hey gorblata , do you have ticket links for those SNTS & Tommy Four Seven shows? I've asked on FB quite a few days ago, but haven't heard anything yet.
They'll likely put it up about a month ahead, that is usually how they do it. Once the link goes up I'll let you know immediately
Just saw RA links for Fatima Yamaha (live) on 6/16 and Volvox on 6/29 (6 days after Umfang). They were two of my favorite acts I saw last year so I am hyped for round 2.
[O] Phase and Answer Code Request were incredible. Phase played 1:30-4 and ACR played 4-7. ACR played a lot of great break-beat tracks as well, I think his set was just barely better. Amazing night as a whole and can't wait for Willikens/Dettmann and then Objekt. Hopefully I won't be too tired haha.
Listening to the Skee Mask album. First 2 tracks I was like cmon get on with it. Every track after has been exceptional. I love ambient breaks more than most things in music. This is on my shortlist for AOTY.
Antal plays LA for Redline on August 4th so I am most definitely headed to that now. Ecstatic. I saw Dettmann/Willikens and Objekt this weekend and Gesaffelstein was just chilling at the Objekt party in a full suit I shit you not. So if anyone wants to know what he's been up to he's been hitting VSSL parties in LA I guess
Steve Bicknell was probably my favorite techno set all year this past weekend. Debating Detroit Swindle this Friday but might take a weekend off cuz I've went out 5 saturdays in a row.
So DJ Seinfeld has a Jungle alias called "Birds of Sweden" and it is really fucking good. I was listening to KCRW which is like the only good radio station in my area and the guy was doing a jungle set and dropped the other track "Chianga Chianga" from this EP and he then announced it was DJ Seinfeld's alias and I was taken aback. Love the dude even more now.
