Mija actually played a great set last Thursday at Smart Bar. Second time I've heard this song at Smart Bar, first time was a Hot Chip DJ set.
Thinking about going to see a Mount Kimbie DJ set since all my friends will be out of town and I don't want to sit at home alone. Also, it's the day before the DJ Kicks album release.
Amelie Lens is a fucking beast. I'd go just for that.
I love how both Charlotte De Witte and Amelie Lens are both crushing the game right now in the scene, both well deserved cause their grind is insane especially Amelie's.
So this happened yesterday. I had friendsgiving obligations earlier in the day, but was able to see Sevron, Eris Drew and Black Madonna b2b Olin. I had so much freaking fun, wish I could have been there longer. I know I've said this before, but if you haven't checked out Eris Drew you need to, she throws the fuck down. I actually liked her set a lot more than BM, which was surprising to me. Sevron was great too

Lucky youuuuu, Eris Drew is still on my list. Her new EP with Octo Octa is so good.

Anyone listen to the Essential Mixes this year? Slowly going through the ones standing out to me. How I'd rank the ones I've heard so far: Call Super Palms Trax Peggy Gou Lone Carl Cox Four Tet (more choppy than I would've expected from him) Avalon Emerson (surprised I didn't love this one like I usually love her mixes) Charlotte de Witte Fort Romeau
Need to finish Denis Sulta's, and currently halfway through Villalobos' and loving it.
Any others worth checking out? Got Yotto, the Miami Music Week episode with The Black Madonna B2B Honey Dijon and The Martinez Brothers B2B Joseph Capriati, Dax J, Lane 8, Blawan, George FitzGerald, Red Axes, Eagles & Butterflies, Jeremy Underground, Mariel Ito (Maceo Plex) and Agoria on my list.

Lane 8 one is like 70% original tracks and Lane 8 makes really boring music so I don't recommend that one

You're probably right, but still wanted to check it for myself. I saw his live show earlier this year, and my god I was booooooooooooooooooored.
