Maybe when Insider threw out the first band with an R clue, they were on that initial list. Then they finalized Radiohead and RHCP, but Rage was still in the mix. I doubt she was being that sneaky about it, but it is a possibility.
I wonder if maybe its Aerosmith...joe perry announced on twitter last week that they would be touring starting in June. Maybe? They wouldn't be my first choice but they are a "big non-current act"

Any of the above would make me a happy camper. I don't see 'Roo bringing in Phish and Furthur on the same year though. They're way too concerned with lineup diversity these days I think.

The amount of hate that would be spewed on this board if Aerosmith is penciled in for Saturday is almost unimaginable.
I almost hate to admit it but I have seen and enjoyed Aerosmith a number of times (grew up listening to a lot of their 70's material) and would be okay with them on the lineup. You have to deal with post Pump material but they still play a surprising amount of pre 1990 material live. It won't happen though

And, for the record, they've had a jam band LN on a stage every year (if you count Flips in 10) so with Phish getting only one show, it's more than likely we'll see Trey, Allmans, or Furthur on LN Which.

I was thinking Umphrey's, DSO, or Gov't Mule were most likely gonna fill that spot this year. But now you've got me all kinds of excited for other possibilites. Really need that lineup now...

Insider came in a few days ago and said that, in addition to Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Phish, there will be one more big act that isn't current and that we'll "be shocked by what still ISN'T worked out." Some have taken this to mean that it's Beach Boys and we'd be shocked by the fact that they still haven't been worked out since we're all assuming they'd have been wrapped up by now. Some are taking that to mean we'll be shocked by the act itself because it's a big name. Here are her three posts from the other day:
I think insider will at least come back to give us which days the headliners are playing. She usually gives us the night by night breakdown for the headliners. That might be all she gives us before the lineup drop, though.

Guys I honestly think it's Outkast. Or maybe it's wishful thinking. Anyways, I think Roo is missing a good surprise act and a good hip hop act in it's lineup right now. Going off last year's wonderful hip-hope lineup I think we could see an Outkast reunion.
