Could you dream about some acts that aren't completely sh*tty? Korn? Are you f*cking kidding me?
You don't see me calling your bands sh!tty. If u got a problem with the ones I like that's fine just keep it to yourself.
There's a difference between calling a band someone likes "sh*tty," and between accurate labeling a band that is, in fact, sh*tty as such.
Korn is sh*tty. They were sh*tty when they were soundtracking XGames commercials in 1995. They were sh*tty when they offered the world terrible collaborations with Ice Cube in the late 90's. They were sh*tty when they foisted Limp Bizkit off on the world in 1998. This is not even an argument for debate. This isn't a band that has some hidden merit that is to be discussed and analyzed. Korn makes the worst kind of music - aggressive, dumbed down, overtly commercialized pap that doesn't even contain a HINT of self-awareness.
This isn't taking a band that could be objectively argued as being "good" based on taste and saying they're awful. It's kind of like, we can all argue about whether or not Obama is a good or bad president, and each side might have merit, but nobody outside of oppressed, brainwashed North Koreans believe that Kim Jong Il was a terrific guy. And yes, I just compared Korn to Kim Jong Il.
Saw Reptar last October at a small day fest in Middle Ga., and they were amazing. Would like to see them again. They're another great band from Athens.

I'm sure Kimbra will be an addition!

Korn maybe? That would be a sweet wrap up to their us tour and there really isn't much metal now that I think about it. And since there's a lot of electro and they just did that whole elctro album. I could see them being that big announcement insiders talking about.
Yes, and then the superjam would be Korn & Skrillex.
They are doing this at Lollapalooza supposedly. Barf.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
New collab between James Murphy, Gorillaz & Andre 3000 out today... Verdict? ow.ly/9fk0n
Probably means nothing.
No, it definitely means nothing. If it meant something, it would meant that either Bonnaroo was uniting these three artists to play a single song (OMG SURPRISE THURSDAY HEADLINER), or that all three of them were going to be there (not happening) or that even one of them was going to be there (also not happening).
JHO liking that post is f'n frittated. JHO, you are the doosh throwing out there was another act that should have been 4th. Then Roo puts a post with the Gorillaz. Potentially related, but PROBABLY not. Just stop being a fleshy banana tease and spill the beans on the 4th act.

Yet it is in this loneliness that the deepest activities begin. It is here that you discover act without motion, labor that is profound repose, vision in obscurity, and, beyond all desire, a fulfillment whose limits extend to infinity.

No, DEFINITELY not.

I could see a James Murphy DJ set happening (perhaps with Pat Mahoney and billed as Special Disco Version), but that's it.

Murphy DJ set just added to Mountain Jam lineup....so he's doing it at fests.
