^^ we shouldn't even be wondering. every single person on these boards and everyone who lurks (myself included for the longest time) should be sending them emails in the next few weeks slamming them for how poorly they've conducted things on that website. absolutely ridiculous.

People spent almost $300 to see just GZA?
I know....they should have just gone to one of the other dates he has this summer with Grupo.

radiohead was is big thing too. but when i was like GZA going to be there hopefully performing liquid swords my buddies were like wow! then i told them about how BA it was at pitchfork and how i wanted to see it again it kind of sold them on the whole bonnaroo thing i think.

That seems a little drastic and unnecessary. The website hasn't really been that bad.
Lovin the Infamous Stringdusters and Sharon Jones adds. Bonnaroo did a great job with the Country/Bluegrass, Soul, and Hip-Hop bookings to make up for the sore lack of metal.

i mean, you gotta admit it's been pretty unprofessional. adding/removing artists, misspelling artists, having artists appear on apps but not the website. why is it so hard to keep things under wraps before sending an email out to everyone? they were always fairly good about that in previous years. they just look like they're desperately trying to sell more tickets and are stumbling all over themselves in the process. i'm still gonna go and have a great time, but jeez. they need to tighten up.
to be fair, i suppose "slamming" may have been a bit much, but this better not be the start of a trend

Not really. There have been misspellings in the past from different festivals as well. It's not really that huge of a deal. So one of their web guys hits the wrong key or isn't aware of the band or something. That's not a big deal.
Adding/removing artists is how it's been done other times. Add them to the lineup, then announce them.

What's the problem? Why does this actually bother you at all? You're mad that you know some additions before it's announced? You can avoid the boards and the Bonnaroo site if you want to be surprised.

Brand new engine for their website this year. Total overhaul and they're using wordpress stuff now. It's different than previous years.
they just look like they're desperately trying to sell more tickets and are stumbling all over themselves in the process.
Stumbling all over themselves? lol the things you are complaining about are really not that big of a problem. Just because we obsess about every single little thing about Bonnaroo and we spend day after day focusing on it doesn't mean that little inconsistencies between the site and app are really a big problem. 95% of people probably aren't stressing over these tiny things.
i'm still gonna go and have a great time, but jeez. they need to tighten up.
Do they need to? I mean, how badly have you really been inconvenienced by their "problems"? Again, a few weird things happened this year but the whole site and engine is new. We found out some names before they were officially announced and the app shows some things that the site doesn't....there are bigger things to worry about in life lol.
Sonic Stage is where the main line-up acts have a second set. Solar Stage is where the cafe acts usually have a second set. Also at the solar stage is yoga, beard contest and few other things.

Sonic is just straight up music sets I believe and here's what I found about Solar:
Bonnaroo’s solar-powered stage presents an eclectic schedule of music, dance, environmental speakers and interactive entertainment. With support from our friends at Rock the Earth we’ll also be hosting panels featuring artists, scientists and activists discussing social change through music.

This years lineup has to be the deepest in Soul. Great stuff everyday judging by the band by day confirmation thread. And I will have plenty of chances to satisfy my inner hillbilly at any number of quality bluegrass shows.
