Yeah - I'd look to mid to low level additions - especially ones that aren't on a national tour but are at Wakarusa the week prior. Names like Beats Antique, Blitzen Trapper, and Tea Leaf Green jump out at me.
She, insider, said "it's amazing how things were NOT finalized" yet with the lineup....hmmm...The Rolling Stones are still in talks/meetings for a tour this summer....If you look at the lineup...there is plenty of space to plug in The Rolling Stones before Radiohead....Saturday = RHCP > Rolling Stones
...and I thought I was crazy for thinking Iron Maiden was still possible
I'm guessing that whatever Insider was referring to didn't work out, and they opted to release the lineup without the big name and they'll spend the money on additions.
If the big name and the band not worked out are the same, it wouldn't be the Beach Boys as AC already signed them for JazzFest.

Why is this such a common misconception. ACE/ Superfly has NOTHING to do with who gets booked at NO Jazz. Totally different festivals, Totally different promoters.
Not calling you out, drew. This has been going on for awhile.

I agree about the whole girl talk thing but... the only show more fun/worth missing girl talk last year was gogol bordello. that's the fucking craziest show i've been to

Didn't want to go through all seven but, just off the top of my head I'd like to see:
Tea Leaf Green Father John Misty Gregory Alan Isakov Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit Lotus Plaza or Atlas Sound or both...hell just bring Deerhunter back Cass McCombs
didnt knoxville.com post a photo of band of skulls and say they were on the lineup? I SWEAR i saw that.
Funny you say that. I've been keeping a close eye on their tour and they recently added an extra run of dates so they'll be lingering around the states throughout May.
I'm actually promoting their Dallas show on March 17 for a club. They even added a second stop in town on May 3 in a smaller venue, which is strange because the March show is nowhere near a sellout. Seems like they're extending their stay for some reason. I'd almost count on them as an add.

Santigold, Arctic Monkeys, Tea Leaf Green, Chromeo, Jackie Greene, Galactic, Cults, Cake, Band of Horses... and ummmm, how about an Adam Carolla live podcast show??
Also I forgot to say I'd like an add of anythin' with Chris Robinson. His Chris Robinson and The Brotherhood studio debut comes out 5.June.2012. Plus I know he's doin' Wakarusa as the Weir, Robinson, Greene Trio.
I know it has been beat to death, but if Jack White is not on the farm then AC dropped the ball big time with JW this year. Also, I don't if anyone has mentioned The Kills, but how have they never played Bonnaroo? Blood Pressures had pretty good success in 2011 and they put on a great show. Both of these need to happen
and garage land who is it that used to be pedro the lion? i saw all of tat band minus the vocals in a small basement show years back and it was amazing but i cant remember the name of that band.
