Lee Fields like Charles Bradley is a long lost soul legend that is making their rounds in the 21st century. Lee Fields has a new album out this year called "Faithful Man" that is absolutely superb and I would go far enough to say its better than Charles Bradley's from last year, which is hard to do because "No Time For Dreaming" is amazing.
It would be so, so, so amazing to see Lee Fields on the line-up on top of having Charles Bradley and Darondo.
Lee Fields would be incredible at Bonnaroo. Few know that Sharon Jones got "discovered" as one of Lee Fields' backup singers. This here is what I believe to be the best-produced track of the soul revival that's been going on the last several years:
I knew you would be on board Garageland. But yeah, this should happen. If the lack of metal on the line-up is made up with a bunch of Soul and Funk music, I'll be more than happy.
