I still kick myself for not seeing Hot Chip back in '07. I just didn't know who they were at the time. Here's to hoping I get to catch them sometime soon.

I know! 07 was my first Bonnaroo. I missed Hot Chip, The Hold Steady and DJ Shadow because I didn't know any better. Oh well, no regrets.

Yep, I've gone back and looked at the '07 and '09 lineups and wondered how in the world I missed a certain band. For some reason or another they just weren't on my radar at the time. Oh well, I still had a blast!
Staying up for Janelle Monae & New Order was worth it. And now she is my major want for Top 30 addition for Bonnaroo. On another note:
ID's lost at Coachella this weekend... What I'm amazed at is someone would bring the SS card with them to a festival. Why is that a good idea. It doesn't even have your face on it like a passport....

Wow if the broadcast is anything like our shows next week, yeeeeaaaaaaaaaaa. It's going to be fun. I am reading of LINES though to get into the new tent. Crowd looks pretty big everywhere but really not as big as the Roo crowd most of the time imo.... cr****
Portugal. The Man's first couples songs I found the sound to be a little off, but I'm real glad I watched that whole set! They killed it! That band is incredible!

I am one of those people that likes to avoid partial sets.
That being said, I can't decide between The Violent Femmes or Puscifer-->Portugal. the Man.
I missed Puscifer at Roo last year, and Portugal KILLED it yesterday on the webcast.... BUT so did Violent Femmes!!! I was getting such a positive vibe from both sets, I don't know which one to choose.
I have other conflicts that are still unsettled, but this one in particular is bugging me.
Hmmm well that Femmes show was pretty incredible. I'm watching The xx and they're much more lively than their records. I don't need extra late night conflicts but now I'd love to catch them. It also makes me wish we had Solange. There's way too much good stuff. I can't even keep up with all the webcasts I want to watch haha. CR*****
