The space blankets are great, but they tend to blow all over the place and eventually rip to shreds. If you're going to use space blankets also bring duct tape and reinforce any spot you are using for attachment. Clothespins and duct tape are super useful in general.

I don't remember at any point last year wishing I had AC, or inches of insulated foam to keep my tent "cooler". Yes, it was awful waking up at 8am when we were roasting in our tent... but it's easy enough to move under a canopy for a bit of extra sleep.
