Anyone from Mobile going to Pensacola for dark star orchestra on Tuesday want to carpool? Trying to get people to go, but no dice. It'll be my first DSO show, also a birthday show. Just don't feel like going by myself.

Any body know when the pre party tickets go on sale?
Do you need a pre party ticket if you have a vip ticket?
Also anyone know where we can park for the weekend, got a bunch staying in a condo from all over, multiple cars but only to parking pass for the condo.

I think they went on sale in April. No, VIP'ers get in free. There's a few lots for parking for free near the East gate.
The Who start their European Tour of Quadrophenia on June 8. Their current US tour concludes at the end of this month. If there is an out of the blue 3rd headliner it could be them.
If they go with the Beach flavor it could be Jimmy Buffett:
I could also see a big headliner like Prince if they are really wanting to make a splash. He has some new material coming out and just lined up some European Summer dates.
If they go with hip hop perhaps Kanye West. If they go 80s and 90s rock perhaps Guns and Roses.

I'm starting to think Stevie Wonder wouldn't be a bad headliner and with the money they would save on Headliners they could get about 5-10 more good undercard bands

Wish they would go after a hard rock/metal group I really want to rage on the beach and I dont think I'll get a chance to do that with the current lineup

Wouldn't Tom Petty (as the "legacy" act) make any possibility of another "older" artist (the who, Stevie, ect) a little far-fetched?
Not saying impossible- and it's not like they've done anything this year that correlates with much of a pattern- but if they were, I think that means 3rd headliner is a "newer name" who's still well established I'd love something grohl-related.

I couldn't agree more. Got my fingers crossed on Metallica

God I hope so. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan and My Cherie Amour is one of my all-time favorite songs, but I already saw him at Roo and it was just above "meh". Just didn't do it for me, especially comparing it to Jay-z right afterwards. With Tom Petty and KoL, I'm hoping #3 is a fresher artist than the other 2. Here's to hoping it is someone most people haven't already seen before.

That's kind of the issue.... there are no big names out there have haven't toured the festival circuit in last 2-3 years, with maybe the exception of Mumford, who we've all established is not playing, at least as of right now. Finding a BNA to headline your fest that everyone hasn't seen in the last few years is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
If Prince or Outkast wouldn't make your head explode, you suck at Hangout Fest. It's not like I'm expecting anyone other than Stevie Wonder. I just saw the Hey Ya video on Vh1 and got excited.

I bet we'll hear some sort of announcement tomorrow. Maybe not the headliner + additions itself, just when it will come, if they did in fact land Stevie. If they didn't or are still waiting, it might be Wednesday before we hear something.

Ohhhhbama. Don't pick fights with Jugs, he will win. I get he's a little tart, but aren't we all?
How fast do you think this is going to sell out? We have one person in the group sans-tickets still. Thinking that with less popular headliners theres gonna be a more genuine crowd at this one...think its gonna take longer than 2 weeks to sell out? Most people on facebook are talking "I dont know anyone past the 3rd line! This lineup sucks!" which is fantastic for me
