Funky- Jay-Z at Roo..... my face was melted from Stevie Wonder when I went to Jay Z. I literally could not understand what was coming out of his mouth I was way gone. He was coming at me too strong, the whole production looked ridiculous to me at the time as well. I walked away to Thievery Corporation at a tent and went 0 to 60 balls out raging instantly it was a great time.
Gophish is on point about Green Day fans thinking they are punks. I used to be into crust punk in like 2001 and those fans are absolutely hilarious how edgy they think they are. Slipknot fans have the whole "I'm crazy man!! Lookout I'm insane!" thing going on.
I do not mind Juggalos at all. I've seen ICP and it was an awesome time. Their fans, albeit white trash, are super friendly and love to get down. I would love to go to Juggalo Gathering, that is some Wild West shizt right there. As sketchy a free for all as you could see since Camp Zoe got shut down!

Does anyone on this forum feel confident about who they think will possible headline and any other act? I think it has to be someone big but I don't know. I live about 45mins. away from Gulf Shores and around here I keep hearing Outkast reunion and its pissing me off cause I'm like 90% sure it would never happen. Maybe Pearl Jam? I have no clue who they would go after this year. If anyone thinks they have some possibly accurate info they want to share with me please do.

Tebow & Sons, I love it!! hahahahahahaha that is an excellent comparison. As Wronginus said, if they blow it then it they will be the Tebows of Safe-rock.
If Muse happens I won't be that upset. I'd be most upset at Kings of Leon I think. Muse would be 100x better than either Mumford, KoL or Green Day. I'm not into them but they would at least have pretty colors and lazers for me to look at while I have a rambling conversations in the back with other bored people.

That's a tough choice, like picking between a kick in the nuts or a poke in the eye.
I will choose Mumford though. I haven't seen them, that's why. KoL was horrible at Bonnaroo. I feel like more hot girls will show up if it's Mumford than KoL.

First time poster, been following a month or so. Thought the fake lineup was pretty awesome...and worked. I have a close friend in Nashville who works at a music agency/promoter - said KOL would be there. Also Grouplove. I trust ta-tas person, but take what you want from it.
Ill take Mumford all day given that choice. They aren't at the top of my list to be at Hangout, definitely not as a headliner anyway, but I like some of their songs and have never seen them play. Never been a fan of KoL.

KOL are like 2 or 3 years past their prime and Mumford is just not headline material I wouldn't mind seeing either but I would most definitely be disappointed if come next week I see either of them at the very top of the lineup

I think its reasonable at this point to assume McCartney is headining Hangout and not playing Bonarroo. Bob Hudson is a pretty obscure name in music and his only real claim to fame is that he was the first westcoast dj to play the beatles. The promo vid obviously opened up with him. I highly doubt HO would fake out an already anxious fanbase with a red herring like that.
I also wouldnt rule out HO spreading the Macca at Roo rumors. It would be a brilliant PR move. A coup of sorts. Roo fans feel like they got edged out and HO fans left impressed. thoughts?...

The first part of your post is likely.
The second part about spreading the rumor isn't. HMF and Roo were going after somebody and one of them wasn't getting him/her/them.

1. Mumford over KoL, Muse over both 2. I think the idea of HO out bidding Roo or fighting Roo for Macca is insane. Booking agencies understand the pecking order. Coach, Lolla, Roo get first dibs. Then comes everyone else. HO only gets Macca if he is playing Roo and there is no clause against hangout, and if HO can afford it. But mobile maybe right about Mumford, if their price is sky high. Macca, Mum, and KoL could be up to 7-8 mil for the three. That seems rich for a 45000 person fest. What if the headliners are softer because of the price tag for Macca? Or am I just a little buzzed right now?
