Pablo has confirmed for us that the lineup is Wednesday- so has another radio station LOCAL to Gulf Shores. I trust that over Birmingham.
They are surely dragging this the Quack out and I really hope it is worth it.. Hope for the lineup at midnight!! Don't care how they do it...just quacking DO IT!
^^ dude above me....what you're saying we're getting 2 nights of WP headliner spot? Nah..its a fest not a Panic run, I see 2 sets over 2 nights...and personally i think this whole panic thing is a bunch of malarky anyways
Wanee and Waka are ridiculously close to HO's weekend that I doubt they would want them They are playing in NOLA May 2 Since they're on Wanee, they will probably be at All Good, possible Peach Fest as well due to All Good Mountain Jam

To be honest Im really not all that upset McCartney isn't going to be there maybe without him they have the money to bring in multiple good bands to fill the void. I guess I'm one of those weird ones who judges a lineup bases on the whole thing from top to bottom not just the first two lines although they are important. I want to be able to get down to some good tunes all day not just the last act of the night.
Also I have been streaming 92zew online last night and this morning and they sure have been playing a noticeable amount of Pearl Jam and trust me they stick out when every other song they play is Adele, Cake, or some pop artist

Well, Shaul Zislin was quoted last year saying:
Zislin also said he does not think having two festivals adversely affects ticket sales, but booking acts could be a different story.
"I'm not gonna book Pearl Jam," Zislin said. "Why would I? They've been here. I have no interest in them, at least not next year.

True, true but this was also before shiz hit the fan and they had to scramble to get someone I doubt they get PJ but until the lineup drops I can dream.
If I was to guess the top of thelineup might look something like: Mumford, KOL, Muse, WSP(x2)
I should be able to be patient for a few more hours... ain't happenin'. Have we discussed Divine Fits? Open between Coachella and Governor's Ball. Thoughts (assuming undercard speculation is still ripe)?
Edit: Also, of Montreal had been mentioned sporadically but never too deeply discussed. They would bring a hell of a party.

of montreal would be a blast. If my shatty memory is correct they had a daytime show at roo that was 100degrees and still fun. I'll be the first to admit I love panic shows but there is ZERO chance they play two nights at HO. The fact they are festival sluts this year is irrelevant though, they could play every big fest in the country and still pull fans to each. Gotta think wanee will be the only multiple night festival gig. Im starting to think the top five will have 2/3 muse-mum-kol, 2/3 petty-wsp-furthur then something great we haven't mentioned much.....maybe jayz with kanye??

Jay-Z and Timberlake....?http://www.nypost.com/p/pagesix/jt_jay_to_tour_ZDt6wcIbRDlYOQls0BvWWJ?utm_source=SFnewyorkpost&utm_medium=SFnewyorkpost
I think that's way out there for HO, but since you mention Jay-Z...
How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?
5/17-5/19: Hangout
5/24-5/26: Summer Camp
6/13: Orgone
6/22: WSP
7/10: DMB and Grace Potter
7/12-7/14: Forecastle
7/19-7-21: Phish
8/22: Umphreys and STS9
9/7-9/8: LouFest
9/20-9/22: Roots N Blues N BBQ
11/14-11/17: Bear Creek??
Your shatty memory serves you right. It was unbearably hot, midday. My crew left me for Gov't Mule but I stuck around and one of my favorite solo flights ever, easily. If you haven't seen it, even if you don't like the music (but you should), you deserve to show yourself the circus.

WSP is most likely going to be there, before spring tour was announced it was highly rumored just short of confirmed that they were playing three nights at the Wharf. Then when dates came out they were in Alpharetta that weekend instead. A lot of people who have WSP sources said it was due to them being added to Hangout. Also when The Wharf shows were still heavily rumored someone saw JoJo and asked him if they would be at Orange Beach this spring which he replied Hangout Fest. At the time many people shot down that, as JoJo just trying to not spill the beans on the Wharf. But then when dates came out there was no Orange Beach dates, so maybe JoJo was telling the truth and they are playing Hangout

gophish I agree with you on moe. and YMSB. YMSB, I believe, is headlining Telluride this year and they sold out their passes in like 4 hours or something.
If WSP is seriously headlining, let alone 2 or 3 sets, I will be beyond pissed off. They just headlined in 2011! Not to mention that even fans of the jam scene aren't even that fond of WSP...I mean seriously, who really likes them?

YMSB is 8th billed at Waka, which is a smaller festival than Hangout with a heavier jam focus. They would be a 10-15 act at Hangout.
I personally don't think they would give any band two sets over two nights. If they give a jam band 2 sets on the same day (like SCI last year), it's probably because there isn't a jam headliner in the top 3, or the third billed headliner is a bit soft. It's a way to assure the jam band fans that someone like TAB or Phil Lesh isn't getting shoved into a 1.5hr slot, and it basically adds a 4th name to the top line.
