I hope you're talking about the movies if you're putting OotP first.

Absolutely not. Those are my book rankings. The whole scene at The Department of Mysteries is brilliant. Sirius. SIRIUS. So many great things that I'm afraid to type and spoil for anyone. Come ON. And I hope you're talking about the movies if you're putting HBP second.
"I never bought into the Native American mythology. You can smoke a peace pipe 'til your dick falls off, but I'm not dancin' with any fuckin' wolves no matter how high I get. Not that I get high, but if I did, my shit would still believe in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ." -kenny powers
I don't want to hear any shit about the mars volta or at the drive in being overrated. The only people who talk about them are people who like them, and those people are typically superfans. The music is pretty polarizing, hence the extreme love and the comments like yours bad mouthing them. This makes them perfectly rated, depending on who is doing the rating. They are not a band people say they enjoy as part of a band wagon

"The problem with GnR is that they suck. The songs suck. Even when they were in their prime they sucked. Remnants of an era of misogynistic sunset strip garbage. Bros who dressed like girls but still acted like high school jocks.

No Country for Old Men Blood Simple. Raising Arizona The Big Lebowski Fargo Miller's Crossing O Brother, Where Art Thou? Barton Fink The Hudsucker Proxy The Man Who Wasn't There Burn After Reading True Grit Intolerable Cruelty The Ladykillers
I just realized I never got around to watching A Serious Man. I'll try to do that this weekend. I seriously doudt it cracks the top 8. And I'm sure I'll catch hell for ranking Raising Arizona above The Big Lebowski. All I can say is that it's been my favorite movie since I was a kid. It's hard enough having it in third place.
