There were rumors circulating of WSP LN set this year before we heard any news of a possible headlining set. So I don't think the idea is too far fetched. Especially since, like it was said, it's Dave's “turn"
Edit - response to superfurrys comment about it being a slap in the face to WSP fans
I never said a single word about WSP fans??? Jesus.
And yes, I know all the rumors you are talking about. Was just telling you a reason some people don't see it happening. I don't really care either way nor do I think it really matters where they are listed. I would just be surprised if they aren't billed in the top 3. It they are even there, which they probably will be.

Radiohead, prince, muse, chili peppers, etc...and they are lucky if they get 1 mill, but they normally only get 500 k
then you have third tier : snoop, dre, J z...they get 100 k
then you have 4th tier : black keys, munford byoncee, Prince etcc: they get 50k
Ok, take a deep breathe. Don't understand why you're getting all worked up. All I was sayin is that if those rumors were true and they just played a late night set, they wouldn't be billed top 3. Jesus .
I'm kinda hoping that DMB shows up so that I stand a better chance at convincing my perpetual fence-sitting friends to finally go.
I hear ya there. I try every year to get more people to go and no one will commit..I just dont get it
It's hard to explain the magic, and people aren't going to shell out $300 for an "experience." They'd shell it out to see Deadmau5 or DMB, though. Once they've gone once, they'll be back.....OH THEY'LL BE BACK ALRIGHT.
Since Primavera is getting My Bloody Valentine this year, I'm allowing myself the slightest shred of hope they'll show up. I doubt it though. I should just be happy the new album is supposedly releasing soon. One can dream though...
This was the ONE band that I had in mind. Them or Rodger Waters. While he's not a jamband, I think somebody complaining because Waters is playing instead of WSP/Phish/DMB/Furthur can have a nice, tall bleach cocktail.
I know the odds of this are HIGHLY unlikely, but for the record, I would be very alright with a Justin Timberlake headlining set.
honestly i wouldnt hate this. i wouldnt feel the need to get close, but would def check it out, and most likely enjoy myself. i think hes very talented, and have heard his live show is good, that being said i couldnt justify myself dropping triple digits to see him on tour.
don't get this board started on kid cudi.... for some reason they all hate that shiz. i don't think he'd get top ten though... at all. he was 23 on the bill at the arguable height of his popularity. i'd love to see him back though if his album is good.
