Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
It's fun to have a big EDM name, and Bonnaroo will do that as they have done in the past. There's no point in discussing that though, it will probably be deadmau5, PL, Skrillex, AVICII, or Bassnectar. Talking about which of those is best is silly, it's more fun to discuss (and thus learn about) EDM acts which are great. There's more to speculate and discuss about when talking about smaller names that make (in my opinion) better music.
fair enough... but i like me a little avicii. and pretty lights is a good artist. there's a reason he's on top.
idk if i've seen savoy or gramatik mentioned but they would both be a fun time. also, goldfish. even though they don't really play the us too much i don't think.

I was at that Athens show, it was great! I'd love to see Four Tet too. Most of my stuff has already been posted, but I don't think I saw Soulwax or 2manydj's, so I'll throw them into the discussion, though I feel like I haven't heard anything about them in quite a while.
Burial, Hot Chip, Underworld, The Avalanches, Squarepusher, Zomby, James Blake, Nosaj Thing, Caribou, and Bonobo are all good suggestions, as well as a lot of others.
And Cut Copy and M83 and The Knife if you want to include them here. They'd fit well into a tent with these acts at least.
M83 into Cut Copy might make up for not having them play this year.
I'd like to officially throw my wishlist into the ring.
(Aside from what's been named already)

LOL wtf avicii/ pretty lights are not the equivalent to nickelback. wow. i can MAYBE see with avicii just because his stuff's so simple and he made a lot of major deals, but that's why i like him. he was the only one smart enough to fully cash in on the fad. don't hate the player hate the game lol. its dance music. just fuckin dance. i really don't see the hate on pretty lights though. he has a ton of really solid stuff. haven't you heard it? or do you just hate on it because that's what you people do with anything not at least semi-obscure.
Congrats on not knowing any of the acts we mentioned!
its not that i don't know a good 80%-90% of those, but cmon. the fun part about this edm fad is the spectacle of it all and the excitement and energy and hype surrounding these big names.

chemical brothers bonobo shadow chemical brothers basement jaxx chemical brothers eskmo CHEMICAL.BROTHERS. jack beats for the broish but still awesome proxy CCCHHHEEMMIICCCALLL BROTHERSSSSSS!
that's a neat production... but im not big on plastikman. my friend fell asleep at the wheel listening to that crap. almost killed his lil bro. because it's so boring and spacy but thats also why i don't think i'd enjoy a deadmau5 show too much. not big and trancy shit.
and yeah... edm's mainstream success is a fad to a degree. 70s had disco, 80's had hair bands, 90s had grunge, 00's had emo, now we got edm.

Also, to throw a few more out there that haven't been mentioned yet:
Groove Armada James Pants Leftfield Lemon Jelly (lol never gonna happen but would be the greatest thing ever if it did) Luke Vibert / Wagon Christ Mint Royale Primal Scream (how has nobody said this yet?) Sebastian Tellier Samiyam Teebs Ulrich Schnauss
My all time dream come true would be Boards of Canada. But more realistically I agree with a lot of the acts mentioned here. Daedelus would be cool, as would Aphex Twin. Sphongle with a full band would be a killer show to see I think. Burial, Benga, Youngsta, and The Bug would all be cool, but I doubt they'll ever make an appearance.
