Velvet Underground-Heroin The Beatles-Helter Skelter The Beatles-Happiness is a Warm Gun Talking Heads-This Must be the Place (Naïve Melody) The Cure-Disintegration Weezer-Only in Dreams Modest Mouse-Doin’ the Cockroach Arcade Fire-Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels) Animal Collective-Banshee Beat Sunset Rubdown-Empty Threats of Little Lord
Well, that was impossible. Honestly the only ones I feel comfortable with are HiaWG, Talking Heads and Arcade Fire. Those are for sure, the other 7 are interchangeable with probably 100 other songs.
Yes! You did it, Garage. I'm surprised you didn't include the Big Star you were talking about. But, these are some fantastic lists everyone. I'm going to work on mine. It may take a minute.
Genesis - Firth of Fifth Phish - Tweezer Ryan Adams - Oh My Sweet Carolina The Smiths - How Soon Is Now Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers - So Tired Opeth - Blackwater Park NOFX - Linoleum Talking Heads - Life During Wartime Phish - Col. Forbins Ascent Wilco - Radio Cure

Off the top of my head. Some awesome lists here.
I need to replace something in here with New Order. either Confusion or BLT.
Deerhunter - Spring Hall Convert Black Lips - Boomerang Beatles - She Said She Said Modest Mouse - Teeth Like God's Shoe Shine LCD Soundsystem - All My Friends Wire - Outdoor Miner Neil Young - Down by the River Sly & the Family Stone - Everyday People The Shins - So Says I Sonic Youth - Teenage Riot
Although this an impossible list to truly make, it was a lot of fun going back and listening to my favorite stuff to make it. I feel like my list really needs the Beatles' A Day in the Life, But She Said makes me so happy (weird, I know). I could have picked any number of Modest Mouse songs (including Doin the Cockroach, which was already picked by Glennron). "Spring Hall Convert" is my favorite of all on the list. "Boomerang" has a lot meaing to me during a life changing period. It also is the perfect blend of pop, punk, and garage to my ears. The rest of the list could change at any time with something from Radiohead, Wilco, Jay Reatard, Animal Collective, "I Hate the Kids", Liars,...a whole lot. Anyways, good times.

Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
My Top 10 today is very mood-dependent, which means it's mostly sulky stuff that's the musical equivalent of hiding under the covers until the storms pass. Tomorrow might be 10 sunny songs; such is the unpredictable nature of mood music...
The Frames - Fitzcarraldo Glen Hansard - Song of Good Hope (new favorite as of Tuesday!) Radiohead - Street Spirit (Fade Out) Peter Gabriel - Mercy Street Damien Rice - Delicate Devlins - Waiting Van Morrison - Tupelo Honey Band of Horses - No One's Gonna Love You Neko Case - Furnace Room Lullaby The National - About Today
Mine would probably be different day to day as well but these are the ones that stand out and never change over time.
No particular order:
1. Piano Man - Billy Joel 2. At the Library - Green Day 3. Master of Puppets - Metallica 4. Lose Yourself - Eminem 5. Let the Music Play - Shannon 6. November Blue - The Avett Brothers 7. Green River/Susie Q - CCR 8. Only Someone Running - Superwolf (Matt Sweeney & Bonnie Prince Billy) 9. Lost Cause - Beck 10. Award Tour - Tribe Called Quest
As with most people, it will change on a day to day (or hour to hour) basis, but here goes.
The Beatles - A Day in the Life The Tallest Man on Earth - The Gardener Portishead - Roads Arctic Monkeys - A Certain Romance Radiohead - Nude Neutral Milk Hotel - Holland, 1945 Pink Floyd - The Great Gig in the Sky Sufjan Stevens - Vesuvius David Bazan - Hard To Be The Flaming Lips - One More Robot/Sympathy 3000-21
No order, and I'm sure there's another 15 songs I could rotate in there comfortably.

That was hard. I cut (among others) "There Goes The Fear", "Karma Police", "Left of the Dial", "My Moon My Man", "The Shape of Punk To Come", and "Common People". I'll probably change my mind about at least one of these within ten minutes of this post, but this was too much fun not to try.
Cut Copy - Lights and Music Beth Orton - Anywhere Arctic Monkeys - 505 Oasis - Supersonic The Gaslight Anthem - The '59 Sound The Beatles - Hey Jude Ryan Adams - To Be Young (Is To Be Sad, Is To Be High) Broken Social Scene - Superconnected The Clash - London Calling U2 - Where The Streets Have No Name
Pearl Jam - W.M.A. Metallica - Creeping Death Notorious B.I.G. - Warning LCD Soundsystem - Yeah (Crass) The Beatles - Yesterday Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird Local H - Hands on The Bible My Morning Jacket - One Big Holiday Eminem - Stan Kanye West - Never Let Me Down
Not as obscure as most of your lists, but I tried to think of artists I love to listen to, and the one song I would probably choose to listen to from them. Except Free Bird and OBH. Those are just classic rock and roll songs. Also 10 isn't enough.
EDIT: I'll do an honorable mentions, because I'm bored. Any one of these could probably be traded out for OBH.
Adele - Someone Like You Radiohead - Lotus Flower Deadmau5 - Strobe Boys Noize - Lava Lava Guns N Roses - November Rain Bob Seger - Turn the Page Led Zeppelin - Bron Y Aur Stomp Temple of the Dog - Hunger Strike Nirvana - Where Did You Sleep Last Night (Unplugged) Lil Wayne - Knuck if You Buck Freestyle Atmosphere - Modern Man's Hustle Arcade Fire - The Suburbs Dave Matthews Band - Two Step Snoop Dogg - Lodi Dodi Dr. Dre - Still D.R.E.
I'll stop there, but probably ike most of you, I can keep going.
