I won free tix to them at the Pygmalion Festival in Champaign, IL last year. I had never see. Or heard any of their music though I was familiar with their name. But their show was a total blast and I danced circles around all those 19 year olds.
Cut Copy LN would be an absolute win for Bonnaroo.
that was SUCH a good show. I had a weird drunken run-in with them at a house party later that night
I want to believe. But I don't. I've just come to terms with it.
Well we didn't get a direct no from their mgmt and they'll be statseside for Governor's Ball. Plus I'm sure they'll be testing out some new material from their album which is supposed to come out later in the year. I'd say there's still a good chance.
This was a show that my girlfriend wanted to go to and I was not that excited about. We ended up front row at our local venue, and I'm now happy to admit it changed my life. But, all I kept thinking while it was going on was - WHY has this not happened in This Tent yet???

I LOVE Cut Copy and have seen them twice live. They killed it both times. After this thread got re-invigorated I listened to In Ghost Colours and Zonoscope last night and fell in love again.
You guys can't go bumping this page all willy-nilly without having an update. It's not good for my heart, and I'm pretty sure I need that organ.
I honestly think they aren't playing. I think their vague answer in the direct confirmations thread was b/c of Governor's Ball. I'm hopeful, but skeptical.

They're playing. Stop being so scared and nervous, everyone. You've got to think they've been on Superfly/AC's radar for a while now, and with the Governor's Ball thing it's actually realistic. Just let go.
I really, truly, honestly doubt they are. The thing everyone forgets is that the e-mail sent in the Direct Confirmation thread asked if "they were playing Bonnaroo or any other summer festivals." So the vague response was very likely due to Gov Ball. And when I e-mailed them a week or two ago, their manager said nothing else confirmed at the moment. It's still possible, but I'd say unlikely.

If Ac/Superfly can't find a way to book them right after they're over here for Governor's Ball, I'm going to make it a point to have some choice words with the parties responsible if they do another one of those public Q & A's this year. I would understand if they'd been on the farm before, but come on.
