You know what, fuck it, it's less than 45 minutes long.
I don't know if Kid A is definitively my favorite Radiohead album (I really switch around on my thoughts in regards to that), but I do think I can say with certainty that it has my absolute favorite Track 1 of their albums ("Everything In Its Right Place").
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Halfway into Everything In Its Right Place for the first time, and I knew that I was going to be in love with that album. It's such a good song.
I'll just nip this in the bud now, to get a head start on the inevitable NP2 backlash from a future "First listen" comment. I've listened to In Rainbows at least 10 times, but OK Computer only 1 time at a music night, everything else Radiohead I've listened to never. Some day soon.
man i think that is great. There is no late to the party anymore IMO with music. You get to approach a catalog that is universally revered and consume it with a head full of expectations. Maybe your expectations will be met, maybe you will be underwhelmed, maybe your expectations will be deconstructed and/or destroyed. But the cool thing is you are going to have the experience and feel something new.
so whenever you are ready put on Kid A and have some fun with it! music is awesome.

Pablo honey.
Even though it's so low on the list, I love TKOL. I feel like it gets a lot if shiz tho. Pretty much the only time I listen to Pablo honey songs is when I'm watching Live from the Astoria

I completely agree on there being no late to the party anymore. I used to get really upset when people hadn't heard something I thought was fundamental listening, even with movies. When people told me they had never seen Pulp Fiction before I would get really upset. Now if someone tells me they haven't seen it, depending on who they are, I just tell them I think that they'd really enjoy it, just probably for totally different reasons than I do. Goddamn, if I could watch that movie again for the first time.
I'll continue you this now that I'm thinking about it. I've only listened to Ill Communication and Paul's Boutique by the Beastie Boys. I've only listened to The Woods, No Cities to Love and Dig Me Out by Sleater-Kinney. I've never actually sat down and listened to Gorillaz' self-titled. I've head pretty much all the songs before, but never in the actual context. I've heard Demon Days and Plastic Beach more times than I can count, however. I've only listened to Carrion Crawler / The Dream by Thee Oh Sees. I've never listened to a full Outkast album. I've never listened to any Dr. Dre album. I never listened to Deltron 3030's self-titled. I've never listened to Godspeed You! Black Emperor. I've never listened to Fleetwood Mac's 1975 self-titled. I've never listened to Portishead. I've never listened to Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti. I've only listened to Ladies and Gentleman We Are Floating in Space and Sweet Heart Sweet Light by Spiritualized. I've only listened to Fear of Music by Talking Heads.
That's all I can think of for now. Holy shit the next several months are gonna be interesting.

What have you been listening to?
All kinds of things, constantly. But apparently, nothing, relatively speaking. Also given the context of the other 23 year-olds I know, I think I'm doing a pretty decent job of getting after it.
I'm not really sure if you're genuinely asking me.
The only Led Zeppelin album I listened to in its entirety before I was 30 was In Through The Out Door. Of course I'd heard tons of Zeppelin singles but that was the only whole album.
Then sometime when I was 30 I was alone in the house and put on II. After a few songs I was just pacing around my den playing air guitar and rocking out like a proper white dude. Jesus what an incredible album.
In my family, my dad is known for mispronouncing names and places. Anytime somebody corrects him, he will automatically reply with "Yeah, that too". For some reason your post took me back to being at home haha.
I had always assumed Death Cab was just a crappy emo band so I never listened to them.
Watch how you describe emo. heyyitskait will get you.
On the subject, I've always thought Cass was a really great song.
EMO KID FOR LIFE!
Death Cab does suck though.
And while I was a huge emo kid through high school and some years after, I listened to a whole lot of really shitty screamo and metal and "hardcore" too.

I have sentimental attachment to Death Cab and really like listening to a few of their albums when in the mood (not the most recent ones so much, but Narrow Stairs - definitely my favorite of theirs- and Transatlanticism and Plans). That said, I don't get at all offended/defensive when people call them a crappy emo band because I get that they kinda are; I just like 'em anyway.

There are a growing number of little things that have come to supremely annoy me for no reason. Pretty much all of them are emerging internet-inspired colloquialisms in the same vein as "I literally can't even" (though that's not one of them), and I have no clue why they grate on me so much. I'm really not at all one to get bothered by things so small and insignificant. But I can't tell anyone what they are because so many of my friends and people I know on here do them, and objectively I know they're not worth mentioning so I don't want to unnecessarily make anyone feel bad or unintentionally single anyone out. So I will keep the details of my curmudgeoniness to myself (because that's exactly what it is).
Just know that I want to irrationally slap people on occasion.
Edit: And I promise this isn't a subtle dig at any particular person or persons or any passive-aggressive nonsense like that. I just get irked. So like...it's not you, it's me.
