Now that wasn't so hard was it? BTW I have a room at the Courtyard and as of now it's just me, you two are welcome to bed/sofa/floor space if you need it.
I may take you up on that offer Bonz. I haven't really figured out where i'm flying in and out of or how I'm getting around yet. I need to get on that pretty soon
Sounds good! Sharing your room on the 29th would be awesome. And then you can come back with us on the 30th and we can go from there whether you want to play in CT for a day and then head to Boston with us, or if you want to get right to Boston.
I think I am not going to do the first two days of the run now. I realized my sister will be in town and if I'm in PC for the whole run, I'll miss more than half of her visit! And Karosko is flying into Hartford the morning of the 29th. So we'll be doing the 29th only (and the 31st).
Maybe a New Yorker can help you to get to Port Chester if you fly into a NY airport? Or do like Wannaberooer is doing and take the train out. Those are probably the best options.
On the 27th, HT faves Deer Tick will open for MMJ. On the 28th, the large afrobeat act Antibalas will support Jim James and Co. while Black Mountain, North Carolina’s Floating Action serve as opener on the 29th. Tickets for all three shows are still available though three-day passes are sold out.
I don't know much about either of them either, but the jacket forum is really big on Floating Action. Antibalas is one of the biggest and best names in Afrocuban and I'm guessing they will bring a huge high energy start to the night. Not to mention the possibility for a really unique collab

I just got my tickets for GA should be an amazing show...anyone got any tips for a fist timer in Boston? Ill be driving in from Maryland
I'm not the person to offer opinions as I usually just go in to drink/ watch a Red Sox game/ see a show. What I can recommend is meeting up with us! I'm sure we'll be there relatively early on NYE to make a day of it (this is not based on any actual discussions so I could be wrong )
