I'm not sure which is more surprising: That there's an eighth season of Dexter or a third season of The Killing. Neither should have happened.
You leave Linden and Holder alone!
I'll admit I didn't even watch the second season, but that's because I thought Season 1 was completely meh. I wanted to give up halfway through but the promise of it actually "ending" that season had me going. And then they conveniently renewed for a second season like a week before the finale.

Yeah, that burnt a lot of people especially since they did advertise it as a "one season, one case" structure and then immediately abandoned it. I don't think it would have been as bad if there wasn't so much padding in the first two seasons. The showrunner has apparently given an ironclad promise that the new case will be season 3 only.

Does that mean they didn't even reveal who killed the girl until the end of Season 2?

You are correct, sir. There is a bunch of convoluted mess behind it but...
I'll just assume you're still watching the show because you're trying to fill the void until BB starts up next month.
I like the visual tone of the show. I am a sucker for the always rainy/dreary murder mystery. Also, despite all the shortcoming of the first two season, I enjoy Linden and Holder a good deal. So far, the third season has been much more focused from a storyline perspective.
Let's see how I like this seemingly polarizing remake.
I'd like to hear your reaction. I'm unhealthily obsessed with the original trilogy. Obsessed to the point where I have a brick from the original Morristown, TN, set (check my commas, A$AP Rosko). I really wanted to like the remake, especially after hearing about the emphasis on practical effects, but it left me kind of cold.

Haha. You just didn't need the second comma in that sentence.
Now @jeffp1717 needs to get on this. After finishing Song of Ice & Fire, The Sandman, and Infinite Jest, of course. We'll keep you busy for months, Zapp.

I have talked to @jeffp1717. I don't think anything could distract him from finishing Song of Ice & Fire.

But isn't a comma after the state *technically* correct? Even if it's one of those things that's neglected so often that it's become optional?
Finally finished Twin Peaks today. Absolutely devastating they didn't continue the series. All in all, a great series with some of the absolute best characters ever written, but an unfinished series. So many loose ends.
