Carolina Panthers used it their first year while their stadium was being built. It was pretty cool going to a NFL game across the street from your dorm. I wasn't a big pro football fan back then so I remember sitting at games studying. ???
If any of you ever can make your way to Upstate SC (only an hour or so from Asheville), come to a game. I'll host y'all & show you the sights.
I have never been to a Beaver game either. The most I've ever traveled for a game was when we played Texas A&M. That was fun except we lost. I've been to FSU, GaTech, NC State, UNC, UGA, VT, South Carolina, & OleMiss. Had tickets to Miami game but we didn't make it down.

Yeah, I can't picture how college football is down south. My D3 school stadium seated maybe 2500 (that's being generous), tickets were $5, and most of the time I could just walk up to the gate and buy one right after the National Anthem played.
And Rudy Guiliani is not a hero of mine. But that just might be the anarchist in me

Yeah... UT football is not like that. For comparison,
Tennessee Titans average attendance last year: 69,143 Tennessee Vols average attendance last year: 94,704

I just looked over Steph's list again.
1) People don't stand for the National Anthem up North? You would get ejected for that down here. 2) When I was in school, Gameday came two years in a row, during year one, the set was down on the street in the crowd per usual. During year two, the stage was on top of the Communications Building due to someone chucking a beer bottle at Corso's head during year one. Why? Because f*ck Lee Corso, that's why.
Settle down guys. I didn't write it, just copied & pasted for your enjoyment. Football is different down south, just sayin'! North, south, east, west, & in between, it's all good cause it's college football! ;D
As much as I want to sit around watching football, I get to go to the skating rink for a birthday party with a bunch of rowdy 10 year old boys. Oh, the joys of having children.

I remember that. They got hammered by the fans for that Auburn game and retreated to the building for the next one. You could still hear the "F*ck you, Corso" chants from down below.
Today begins the Rich Rod era at Arizona. It's going to be a tough season especially for the defense but I'm excited none-the-less. I predict a feel god 20-30 point win tonight against Toledo where the offense has its way with the Rockets and the D does good enough to win decisively. Just enough so that people get their hopes up only to be dashed by OSU next week.
PS by the end of the season all of you will know the name Ka'deem Carey.
