Maybe it's just a phrase I'm used to saying...I know they wanted it as much. When I say they didn't show up, I mean the whole deep bench that I'm used to didn't show up...Neal and Green couldn't get into their 3-point groove, and Parker could not get into the lane (both due to Miami's great defense). Also, Manu, with his several turnovers in the 4th was just inexcusable. The thing that was consistent this game was their free-throw shooting...which if you think about it, if they had been this consistent throughout the series with the free-throws, it never would have come down to a game seven. I'm not trying to sound completely negative about the Spurs, they did great and I'm so proud of them...but if they played the way they did during the regular season, and earlier in the playoffs, they should have taken this series. That, and they had almost two weeks off of rest, and an injured Wade, who was almost none existent in the first four games.

Manu pulled a Neil O'Donnel in the 4th with all of those errant passes. At times it seemed like he was the only Spur who could drive to the basket and score though.
I know. Sucks not being the best. Just ask the Miami Dolphins.
I couldn't care less that they won, they earned it. LeBron played his heart out, Chris Bosh sucks, and you're a bandwagon Heat fan. And tomorrow will be Saturday, nothing changes.

I'm not a bandwagon fan but ok. Your team sucks and they always will. Go heat! Back to back champions! Best in the world! Deal with it. Haha.
My team sucks? What are you 6 years old? I'd like to think if the Knicks ever do win a title I wouldn't waste celebrating it by trolling obscure internet message boards.

I'm not going to be too hard on Bosh. Don't get me wrong, if you make 17 mil a year you should be able to make a couple shots in the last game of the season, and his late 3 point attempt was enough to make me cringe something ugly, but he exhausted himself trying to guard Duncan, no small task. And he played a large part in getting them to Game 7.
Would have much rather had Boondocks Guy than From The Internet guy.
4 first rounders in the next 2 years will soften that blow, though!
And the C's apparently also have the right to swap 1st's in 2017, and by then Pierce/Garnett will be retired and the Nets will be pumping out 30-win seasons, so that's a distinct possibility.
Roo'adelphia I'm sure you're feeling as bummed out as I am about losing Jrue Holiday on draft night. He was the lone bright spot on our team and the one player I truly looked forward to seeing play and grow next year. We can only hope these draft picks pan out. I'll be watching a lot more City Six college hoops next year over the Sixers.

The Team makes the AllStar the AllSttar dont make the team. I am totally happy with the trade. Not so with the lanky Center with the ACL problem, but the potential to progress as a team. My motto for the sixers after the AI era ws "stuck". We were stuck in one place being a young team with no identity. Thank God for Dougy C or the team woulda been a mess. There have been glimmers of hope here and there and Jrue is a damn good baller, but having that 1 guy on a team of youth makes them think the game revolves around him. The Sixers need to grow and learn their style of ball and not have the ball going through jrue every bucket. Jrue was leagues above the rest of the squad and will shine anywhere he is but to develop our young, unshaped core they need to grow together and not around an 1 allstar...IMO
