I know this is very farfetched, and very unlikely, but would it be completely impossible for Band of Horses to play in Denmark and at Bonnaroo on the same day? I mean, what if they had an early afternoon slot at that fest, then flew back for a Which closer set at Roo. Like I said, seems way too inconvenient, but they don't have any dates in Europe again for almost two weeks after the 16th.
As a huge BOH fan that would love to see them at Roo, it's probably a 99% chance that ain't gonna happen. But not 100%. I'm not getting my hopes up though.

Speaking of bands that were on the brink of large-scale success and totally blew it...
Haha I'm a Band of Horses fan as well and I doubt they could ever make it happen. I was hoping they could gain some steam with the most recent album but unfortunately, they could be fading back into relative obscurity.

I admire your optimism. Lets hope they perfect teleportation between now and Roo. I hold the same hope for Daft Punk. No chance in hell of it happening, but as long as there's 0.1%chance.....

I dunno, you might be jumping the gun on them. Time will tell I guess.

Yeah, it's not happening in that window. The shortest flight I was able to find required more than twelve hours in the air. Assuming that they were able to make a 3:40 flight out of Copenhagen they still wouldn't even hit the ground until 8:55. (Most of the flights were 36 hours or so.)

I'd love to see them get bigger. Cease To Begin is excellent. It just seems like they're not evolving. I root for those guys though, always looking out for their live shows.

Oh my - Things just got very interesting. I was disappointed with some of his fusion stuff in the 80s and 90s - but love so much of his work. He is a real legend. I would love to kick back and hear him play at Bonnaroo. This is really good news. In the words of JLo - I just got the goosies.
I wonder if Google has noticed a spike in searches for Sang's mom?
I'd be lying if I said I didn't google it when I first got on here . I could tell it was some sort of joke but I had no idea why. I still don't understand the origin or why it's supposed to be funny, but it was funny that ol' Johnny Davis threw it out there.
Awesome. Wonder what kind of stuff he plays live these days...probably be asking too much to get some Bitches Brew tunes, but I'd imagine he still plays some Mahavisnu stuff, right? Or is it mostly just straight improvisation live with him?
Guess we can expect these things to start rolling in in the next 24 hours.

Yeah, I doubt he does Bitches' Brew stuff - probably mostly Mahavishnu and his most recent stuff with the 4th Dimension. He has been known to close a set with Love Supreme though (!)

Jimmy Fallon "accidentally" let is slip that Animal Collective and Japandroids would be there on his show last night, which resulted in a twitter response from Bonnaroo.
Late Night ?@latenightjimmy Okay don't be mad bonnaroo, but @jimmyfallon just accidentally leaked two new names from your line up: Animal Collective and Japandriods!
Bonnaroo ?bonnaroo Really @latenightjimmy?!? Blowin up our spot! People need to tune in to #BLAM for that info
I know they were assumed answers for the first two clues, and Japandroids have already been confirmed, but I would say this is more direct confirmation of Animal Collective.
"Confirmed": 19 of these 21 panned out, and as Jackson mentioned, the two that didn't (Young Empires and Atlas Genius) could easily be additions.
"Quasi-Confirmed": 3 of these 6 ended up on the lineup (Grizzly Bear, Tame Impala, and Lord Huron...Janelle Monae, The Polyphonic Spree, and Stars did not).
"Denied": Of the 73 bands that denied their appearance at Bonnaroo, not a single one of them was pulling our leg.
"Unknown/Open for interpretation": 6 of the 15 (40%) artists in this category ended up on the lineup.
