"You can call it resigning if you want but you were already fired. I've been wanting to do that for a long time. You're an amateur, you play to fast (which is the sign of an amateur). I've asked you to slow down and get behind the music but I can tell that you don't know what I'm even talking about." OH SNAP! I don't think I would have published that email in response the two sentence response from the band If I were him.
I agree, but to leave him outta a "glam rock" box set for that is just insane to me. You'd be hard pressed to find a band from that time-frame that didn't have some sort of convictions for something as equally as f*cked up.
Unfortunately, they are right. It's re-writing history instead of talking about why it's so Quacked up.
FTR, Glitter was a messed up dude and I'll never defend what he did. I'm just irritated that instead of dialog, it's easier to sweep it under the rug and not deal with it.

I can agree with you on that point. It's one thing to say "We left Gary Glitter out because f*ck that guy.". It's another to say that "All the obvious candidates are here" and make no mention of why you left him out. If you are taking a stand where you are leaving him out due to his offenses, the impact of it gets diminished when you don't say it.
Looks awesome. I posted about it in the "Upcoming Shows" and bacon brought it up online today. I may try to make this one but money is tight at the moment. Should be a good time though.
Call it home-state bias, but I'm more excited for this one.
I saw T Bird at the Red 7 Fun Fun Fun aftershow featuring Lee Fields, Brownout, Latasha Lee and he told me the band would also be doing Tom Waits' Blue Valentine on Valentine's Day in '14.

Some quotation marks would have really cleared that first sentence up, Sang Vincent.
Lorde has released a new single called "No Better." It is currently free on iTunes along with the video for "Royals." It's another awesome song. Lorde is really on a roll right now!
