Oladipo is more important to this team than Zeller, imo. I don't know how MSU didn't do a better job accounting for him when setting up their offense. I don't think I'd put him top 5 in the country based on talent and what not, but his basketball IQ is superb.
You guys ever have those players, usually on another team in the conference your favorite team is in, who you feel like have been playing for 7 years? I like to call it the Drew Neitzel award. Anyway, I had that feeling this morning with Oladipo only to then realize he's only a Junior. Wtf.
I'm a neutral, so I was happy to see a great game. My facebook feed was in meltdown mode, though. I don't know if anyone loves the long two with a hand in their face more than Tim Hardaway Jr.

Meh, I prefer MSU to U of M just because when I was growing up and playing, State and Izzo were so visible. I never have been a super passionate supporter, though.
As much as I want to support U of D, I f*cking hate the way we play. We should murder every Horizon League team with the talent we have, but our lack of commitment to team defense, a balanced offense, and good basketball principles in general makes it painful to watch. 2 weeks ago we lost a home game to Valpo in which we were up 22 at one point in the second half. We have such a wealth of offensive talent, but it ends up being a waste. There's a handful of off the court issues too that weaken my support of the guys.
That was a great game, didn't see it all, but what I saw was very typical to what this season has been.
Also, am I the only one skeptical that Miami can maintain this level of efficiency and intensity through March? They are playing lights out right now, arguably playing as well as anyone in the country, but its hard to maintain that for a few weeks, let alone through a postseason.

Florida looked better than they are thanks to UK playing uninspired ball. If I had to pick a final four today it would be :Indiana, Gonzaga, Florida, Miami...with a close eye on the Butler Bulldogs and The Syracuse Orangemen

Not expecting a blowout by any stretch tonight like many are. This rivalry doesn't care about records or rankings.
Go to Hell Carolina!
This is my favorite time of year to sh*t-talk. I don't think it'll be a blowout, but I don't have a good feeling about our chances. It'll be that much more amazing if we somehow pull off the upset, though.
I love IU but the Final Four is gonna be really, really hard this year. Guarantee we get both Wisconsin and Butler in our regional.
I would definitely expect Butler, depending on where Wisconsin is seeded, they may or may not be in the same region. They tend to try and keep conference teams separated, unless Wisconsin was say a 7 or 10 seed, in the bottom half, while IU was a 1 seed in the top half.
I'm hoping to see a UCLA-UNC 7-10 matchup. If Stanford gets in, I'm sure they will be in Duke's bracket. Wouldn't be surprised to see VCU lurking again.
Best worst game ever or worst best game ever, either classification will work. Another intense matchup going down to the final minutes, wouldn't expect anything less. Go Duke!
