Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo in 2013!!
This is for 2012 only. Do not take into consideration age of the fest, past lineups or anything else that doesn't pertain to the 2012 festivals.
What you are voting on here is which festival was better in 2012. Which one you either A) enjoyed most or B) would have preferred to go to. Use whatever reasons you want. Lineup, location, cleanliness, comfort, clean portos, people, just plain preference, ANYTHING
I just don't understand. You're taking festivals and seeing who liked what better? I mean, that I get but like in this situation you're comparing a 5 day festival to a two day festival. Of course the SXSW lineup will look better. There are half-a-million bands on there. ON PAPER.
Comparing festivals is like comparing motor oil to oranges, imo. They are all different boutiques with tastes for everyone.

I believe we've all told him (or at least wanted to tell him, but didn't think it was worth the effort) that this was a complete waste of time and that it's bumping down more important threads in this subforum into the next page. Should have just had one thread and have everyone rank their favorite fests of the year (top 3 at least). Then tally up the top votes and then make that thread into a poll with the 8 fests that got the mosts votes. Then let everyone vote, including the lurkers. Roo wins because we're on a gotdamn Roo forum. /end
edit: Seriously there are like six 2013 festival threads on page 2. You know what that means? Six new threads will be made because they didn't see the old threads. surfbum herped when he should have derped.
edit2: He's gonna come back in here tomorrow just to say "Moog wins" so our thread bumping escapade today is really a waste of time.

I did it the way I did it because its a bracket and I wanted to do individual polls for each. Plus I was hoping there would be chatter comparing the 2 by people who actually attended said festivals and some people who went to both. It happened a little bit in the voodoo hangout one, but other than that it hasn't happend. Maybe the talk will come in the next 4, which by the way will be one per week not 2 per week.
The winner (Roo) will be crowned right before lineup drop. It's just something to pass the time until then.
And FTR I got your opinions I the original thread, and they were noted. I chose to do it my way. Thanks for the input though.

I am not being snarky or sarcastic when I say: I don't know how to do multiple polls in a single thread. Is there a way?
Edit: FTR I'm not opposed to adjusting this mid stream. It's obviously not working great this way, so I'll eat crow and change it if it makes it better
Edit 2: I mean its working, but it's messy and causing unnecessary threads. That I agree with

I don't remember not addressing it, but I did see the post and looked through the thread. I didn't like the format, but obviously mine isn't working. I will be probably making some kind of adjustment for the next rounds.

Fun Fun Fun is the best festival in terms of the amount & quality of music you get for your $. Bear Creek is the best in terms of having a good time with great people and throwing the funk down.
