Giddy.
It's creepy as quack how much this kid looks like me as a child! I have a school pic from grade 2 or 3 that is almost a mirror image of this! I'll try to find it this evening.
So weird that you said this because I was just thinking the exact same thing about myself as a kid.

I may be the only one excited by this, but Alison Moyet's new one hits in May:
U.K. imprint Cooking Vinyl today announced it has signed Alison Moyet to a worldwide deal with plans to release the former Yazoo singer’s eighth studio album this May, an electronic-based collection that signer describes both as “prog-pop” and “born of reconstructed improvisation.”

How can you look at it long enough to tell? It hurts my eyes!
Just listened to Tegan & Sara's new record for the first time with very low expectations...WTF??? It sounds like Katy Perry, haha. I mean it's not BAD necessarily but holy sh*t is it radio-friendly. Total sound makeover.
^The public radio station here has been playing "Closer" a ton lately, and every time I hear it I feel like I have the Top 40 station on. Not say it's not catchy, though.
Just finished listening to the new Frightened Rabbit album.
Really solid album from beginning to end. Particularly enjoyed Holy, and Late March, Death March
(Is this also a review thread? I'm blind and don't see one)
I just came in here to post about this. The album is really, really good. The production reallly took a step forward here - it's familiar (i.e. its a FR album), but also stands out from everything they've done before.
