Brooklyn Vegan is reporting that The Postal Service are going to be playing Coachella this.year. I would normally dismiss this but Brooklyn Vegas did leak that ATDI was playing Coachella last year. If Roo booked The Postal Service where would they be billed/play? Im thinking theyd be top 10 and close out the Which on Sunday.
This is the type of thing that Coach and Lolla get and Roo misses out on (like ATDI). That being said top 10 and Which sounds right if they were at Roo.

I met Ben Gibbard after the DCFC show in Knoxville last Spring. We talked for 3 hours on the roof of Pres Pub. It was a dream come true for me! During the conversation I made him promise that if The Postal Service ever reunited for shows that they'd play Bonnaroo. He promised. So if they're on the Coachella lineup then you can count them in for 'Roo!!
Such Great Heights was playing at work today and I was thinking about how much I loved Give Up. I'd love to see them at Roo, but it seems like it'd be more of a Coachella thing.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

According to some insider scoop it looks like The Postal Service will definitely be reuniting at Coachella. What do you think the odds are they make it to Roo also? If they don't it looks like I may be heading to Indio this year

Well, since none of us know what the "insider scoop" is, it's hard to us to really give odds on something that we have no knowledge about.
But from I have read/heard, Coachella is your best option.
Odds on Roo getting them too: 69/69

1-1-12 Bassnectar NYE SHOW! 1-21-12 G. Love and Special Sauce 3-1-12 Radiohead 3-9-12 Experience Hendrix 5-15-12 Jack White @ The Ryman 6-7-12 Bonnaroo 6-19-12 Roger Waters presents "THE WALL" 7-7-12 Ringo Starr's 72nd Birthday Party Extravaganza at the Ryman
It def looks like a tour of some type. I'd ultimately love new music but I don't know if that's too much to ask. They would def have to close out the Which or do a LN tent show. I would dieeeee to heard "Brand New Colony" live!
Rooin' since '05...(except 2014...worst June of my life!)
"Hey Peter Frampton! Do you like toast too? Yes, as do I. It is warm and crispy, and a perfect place for jelly to lay. Now stay the hell away from me Frampton, I ain’t got sh*t to say to you!"
Hopefully coach only has west coast exclusivity if that's even a real thing
I doubt that Coachella would be that dick to only let them play there. There's something in the Billboard article (linked thru CoS) that says they're probably gonna do festivals AND an actual tour.

Get a old NES hook it up to a sound system and play Super Mario Brothers for 72 minutes.
Actually they are pretty good, I just listened to the first album today for the first time in a long time and it is great for driving imo. It sounds a lot like Marco Benevento.
Edit
Give Up is actually the name of it.

It would be cool, but honestly, that seems like a lot of money for a show that will only be 10 - 12 songs. Does anyone know if they've ever tried to do anything else? Just seems like it would be a really short set.

I just listened to The District Sleeps Alone Tonight after hearing news of the reunion. I'd love see them perform that song live on the farm. When the song picks up, I'd be a dancing maniac!
