First Agalloch reunites for shows then this. This has been an insane week for me. Agalloch and Beherit are two of my all time favorite metal acts ever. I didn't think Beherit would ever play a show again, let alone in Japan of all places. I'm absolutely here.
I'm pretty sure it sold out in presale but Id like to see Candlemass
Queensryche is a weird one just because I feel like they're here a lot and they don't need a ticket mover (if you could even call them that at this point)
I mean this in the most loving way possible but Fuck You, Houston.
Sodom is a bucket list and a rare Lamp of Murmuur sighting. Totally jealous.
I wouldn’t put any money on Sodom actually coming. Way too prone to cancel. Play it by ear or just go see them in Mexico where they play every other year.

i do these 10 song playlists for work. usually i try to keep them for a general audience, reasonably clean lyrics, nothing too weird (though occasionally i throw a weird one in there). i'd been messing around with the idea of an all-metal(ish) playlist for a while but never thought i'd share it, i mentioned it to one of my bosses who actually listens to my playlists, she said go for it.
anyway here it is. i tried to include some songs that at least are a little poppy/hooky. wife said i shouldn't have started the playlist with holy wars, said i should've ended with it because where do you go from there? but i had to end it with raining blood because where else do you put raining blood. plus if people stopped listening i at least wanted them to hear a piece of holy wars because it's the best thrash metal song.
Or Priest. I probably would have thrown in W.A.S.P Wild Child because that song is low-key genius and I want people to listen to it. Plus, you can BANG OUT some numbers to it.

It's a good list though. Definitely like it.
Rob Halford is on WTF today. started podcast this morning and he's of course charming and delightful. going to work "Electric Eye" into my next regular playlist for sure.
