Let's get Holy Mountain in the Cinema tent this year. It is one of the most bizarre yet beautiful movies ever made and would definitely make for a great late night stumble upon. The imagery alone would definitely draw some people in. Make it even better and have Alejandro Jodorowsky come and do a Q&A! Well, at the very least the movie.

Well, you have to be the right mood for it. I think that perfect late night feeling from Bonnaroo would transfer quite nicely. I went through nearly every emotion possible the first time I watched it. At one point I'm nervous, next I'm in awe, next I'm disgusted. It's such a trip of a movie.

I synced much of this film to some Portishead tunes and such. The scene where he's walking with the knife through the rainbow hallway matches up nicely to "Roads".
I went to a show a few years ago with 5 locals bands. They were all set up and would rotate every song for like 2 hours. They played that movie on a giant screen behind the stage the whole time. It was amazing

This would make me very happy! The Holy Mountain is a movie that has confused me for years, but I enjoy it immensely and I think it would be great for the late night Roo vibe.
El Topo's good too, but for whatever reason I prefer The Holy Mountain. Think they would ever play Eraserhead?
