No Phi they are actually a legitimate touring band. I haven't seen them yet but I hear they put on an amazing show and they seem like they would be perfect for a Roo latenight. Especially being mostly from Nashville

The MUMMIES would be perfect for Roo/late night set! I've been a fan for years and each show just gets better and better. It would be an amazing party! Though from Nashville they rarely play here anymore..maybe once a year. They tour ALOT.

A night time cafe act, perhaps? They were one of the few bands I looked forward to seeing Sunday at Wakarusa in '11. I could only take so many songs about the undead on a Summer afternoon. Beatle Bob was there and even he wasn't his normal dancing self. They do all seem to be very talented musicians. I would love to see them at a Halloween show.
Ha, I saw these guys on HDNet one time and couldn't stop laughing at the gimmick. Then when I read that no one knows their actual identities and they are all from other bands, I thought it was pretty cool (if true).

Regardless, seems like a fun show.
Basically they are all under contract to Nashvile country stars as session or touring musicians so they perform wrapped up and do not tell anyone who they are. The identities of several of the members are pretty common knowledge around town though. None of them are big names but they have several grammys and music awards between them.
