If you have to push that hard then it probably isnt worth it. I dont know your brother but it seems that a lot of time if you have to push someone to go somewhere, they end up being a drag because they dont really want to be there and let it be known. Last year was my first 'Roo but I have been wanting to come since 2004. I would have killed for the opportunity to come before last year but kids and obligations prevented me from doing so. He he has the opportunity and isnt taking advantage of it then I dont know what more you can say, especially if he has seen the line-up and is still not convinced.
more music than can be absorbed in a short time, a friendly crowd, people watching beyond belief, no pressure, feel the sweat drip down your body and don't care, meet people without pretension or expectation
you can be clean, bring soap, shampoo, camp shower things so the water will be hot, baby wipes to stay fresh don't sweat eating too much, have a hearty breakfast at camp, then really great food from vendors (David Bowie Pizza anyone?) and even the irritating things aren't so bad, except the smell of the porta potties they can be gross switch potties, the next one WILL be better. Sir Paul ain't gonna be around forever, then you are left with Ringo. I like him and she's sixteen, peaches and cream etc, but c'mon, dude! if you don't want to deal with freaks and geeks, people will not be in your face, you can be alone with thousands of people or feel the vibe of being with a mob in a good way.
