I figure there will only be a handful of us posting on here, but we need a Mardi Gras thread. Anyone else going to Krewe du Vieux tonight? I'm so pumped up to start the season! Some parades the next few weeks, then Super Bowl weekend, then all the good parades.. I hope we can survive it all! KdV is my third favorite parade of the whole season, behind only Bacchus (2nd cause its so damn big) and Endymion (1st because its right by my house so we have a party after.) Zulu is 4th only because you have to wake up so early.
I will be staying here in St Augustine. There is always a party at Harry's downtown thats a lot of fun, packed and decent music. Maybe next year I can make it to NOLA for the festivities
