Don't shoot the messenger, but someone on their official message boards (Hive) asked when the summer dates will be released, and their management said they'll be doing a smaller tour with some festival dates mixed in.
Where would 311 be billed at Roo? I'm thinking afternoon Which Stage, they're def to big to play in a tent I'd think?

I'm surprised they haven't been to Roo. If they have, I don't remember. They just seem due. Although, I think they seem less in demand, based on their recent output, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see them on the lineup.
I cannot believe how much attention this thread is getting. For what it's worth I doubt 311 will be on the farm (same goes for Incubus, in fact I think they're even less likely).

Though i have 0 interest in seeing them, i think 311 at the farm could happen. I think they could land at an afternoon Which slot or really anytime in a tent. Incubus, not so much. They'd require a larger slot than they'd be worthy of at Roo.

I love 311. Used to be the only band I listened to before I wised up and branched out. I'll always like them just because they did so much for me in my earlier years. With that said though I would not like to see them at Roo. They would play a festival set which would consist of Amber, Love Song and their new stuff. So, their set would blow since all of their good material is in their earlier albums. If it was something like 311 playing the Transistor album then I would be front row but that won't happen. One thing everyone should be able to agree on though is that there are very few bands left that are as caring and giving to their fans as 311. They do at least 3 tours a year, a cruise every year and a massive show every 2 years. They have been touring nonstop for over 20 years now and that makes me respect them and what they do even more.
