Coming off the farm in 2012 and through the latter part of 2012 there were a good bit of artists I felt pretty good about being at 2013 Roo. Now a lot of them I don't feel nearly as strongly about or they've been confirmed to not be there.
Anyone else feel this way about these or other bands?
Foo Fighters Silversun Pickups Gotye My Morning Jacket (Sunday HL) M83 GirlTalk Band of Horses Bloc Party Dirty Projectors Kings of Leon (thought for sure if they returned it would be in their home state festival) Miike Snow Portishead Sleigh Bells
Given we haven't seen a lineup yet. I feel like this is somewhat worthy of its own thread. Music just shifts so much in 8-9 months

I was shocked when miike snow wasn't on the bill last year, and now it seems unlikely they'd return to the US just for roo. I also expected to see hot chip at roo this year, but with their tour schedule, outlook not so good. What makes you think silversun pickups are out? Are they playing somewhere else that weekend?

No reasoning on Silversun Pickups other than they haven't announced any dates. I still think they will play, but the long line of disappointment regarding other bands I'm anticipating keeps me looking at the glass half empty.
