I like the idea and think it'll be fun to get the lineup as an extended event. Based on Al's Comedy Bang Bang appearances I'm pretty confident in thinking he'll be entertaining and that his corniness won't feel grating. Hopefully he has other people to frequently bounce off during the webcast to help avoid that.
I've been wanting to see the dude for years and I'm so down with an Al show at Roo. When I was a kid I didn't really know his stuff was parodic and so legitimately rocked out to songs such as "Smells Like Nirvana." I always tried to have my headphones cranked so loud that other people would hear the tune and think I was cool or on the edge or something haha.
Also, my car has a tape deck and I still jam The Sign in it a few times a year. It'll never stop being good.

I'll post this here since it's the actual best place to post it. On the facebook, Bonnaroo posted a video today talking about how they are taking us to Mardi Gras next week. Does anyone else thinks this makes it more likely that the 12th is really going to be line-up day? I could see them doing Mardi Gras stuff all week then having the three hour drop on the 12th as the culmination of the week's events.
I had a wishful thought this morning. What if tomorrow at noon when people come to get the next clue we instead get word that on Thursday when people would normally be looking for another clue they will be doing the announcement instead. They've conditioned us to pay attention at these specific days/times so it seems sensible to imagine they might utilize this for the announcement.
