Its getting to be that time. Phish has announced summer tour dates in February the past two years so I'm sure we'll hear something soon. Lots of rumors floating around the internet (OK floating around PT), but nothing I can really sink my teeth into yet.
I'm hoping for a festival more than anything, otherwise this might be the year I do weenies labor day weekend or even The Gorge. As always would love to get some southern dates. What I'd really like to see is an old school multiple night run at Lakewood. Alpharetta is a nice venue and everything, but Lakewood's vibe crushes it. That lot is always so much fun.

Really hoping they come back to FL finally. They haven't been here since the NYE run in Miami 09. Even worse, they haven't been to Tampa since 1995! Let's change that, so I finally won't have to drive 6.5+ hours if I want to see them.

Announcement has to be soon based on Summer tour announcements the past few years. I'd be surprised if it didn't come next week. Since I already know I'm going to 'Roo I'm just hoping for a Lakewood date or two, not sure if I can do the whole take vacation days to catch 3-4 shows thing. If they play weenie's labor day weekend again that's a possibility for me though.
Lakewood July 12 - 13 and Oak Mountain July 14 rumors are making the rounds. Sucks that my hometown show would be on a Sunday but a least I would see them 3 times.
Damn. All the rumored dates I've been seeing for the South run are right around All Good, for which I'm already taking 3 days off work. Won't be able to swing anything but one night at Lakewood if those dates are right. Would love if they swing deep South to Lakefront Arena here or something. Not likely, I know.

Excited to hear about the Lakewood rumors, I'd be perfectly content with a nice run from lakewood to bham.
Alpharetta is nice and clean and everything but Lakewood is so much better. The lot is amazing, its like its perpetually the year 2000. Wooks running amok, free parking, cops don't care, tons of vending, and of course only like 3 portalets so everyone is just peeing everywhere.
I always love that drive back into Atlanta after the show too. Craziness. Or hitting up R. Thomas Deluxe Grill for the bomb late night hetty food. I could go for some french toast and a magic disappearing potato right about now.
Most of the rumored dates have the tour starting in late June/early July, and there are rumors we'll just have one big leg instead of two separate legs. So its possible if the tour starts later that the announcement could be later as well, maybe up to 3-4 weeks from now.

End of March is my guess, I really hope they go back to VZW in Alpharetta instead of Aaron's amphitheater.

Triple yes! Lakewood is miserable to me - I'm a lawn guy (once boy) and Alpharetta is light years ahead. I'm starting to feel like this will be the only show(s) Ill catch unless they are at the Gorge in early august and I can scrounge up the cash to fly out to my brother's place.
