I imagine that we will be able to tell within a fair degree of certainty what band(s) among the additions fit(s) in the same tier as The Gaslight Anthem.

But you don't know if that band is somebody who they were going to add anyway or an additional band that they signed because Gaslight Anthem decided to ditch. Also, I would argue that to be a real replacement, the band would have to be in the same kind of ballpark musically. Last year, Kvelertak cancelled to work on their album, and they never added a similar act to the line-up with any of the sets of additions.
To say nothing of the fact that going after a target like Bieber just makes them looks like fools. Of course Bieber sucks, of course he makes vacuous pop music which appeals primarily to teens, and of course its mostly disposable. Everyone knows this - every generation has its bubblegum pop idols, and they're all incredibly easy to take shots at. It's just low hanging fruit. [/quote]
Thx for so eloquently stating how I feel about the Beatles. "I wanna hold your hand,, Ialalalala"

I wonder how long ago that was? When I saw them it had a lot of factors going against them and they really rocked the house an stole the crowd from headliners UMO.
I could see if you want exact reproductions of the album you might be a little disappointed; they do jam out and reinterpret a bit.
I somehow find myself loving The National more every single day, a band that I heard was great but never got into before the lineup is becoming one of my favourite bands of all time. Its a shame they are coming to my city the day before they are playing Bonnaroo
It is not at all reminiscent of a multitude of parody lineup posters that have been created in the past 3 tears.
actually i dont think it was meant to be edgy or insightful. i just saw it and thought it was funny... thought others might too. sorry for my 3 *year out dated post. i should have done it when it was still cool
i guess I should complain to the sponsors directly, or Bonnaroo?
looooooooooool
yes, please draft emails to IFC, Miller Lite, Ford, Garnier Fructis, Adult Swim, and Relix. I'm sure they would LOVE to hear about your distaste for your undertitle on this forum.
oh, and im sure an email to Bonnaroo would do a world of good also.
