Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Btw when did I miss these adds? (Which I might have because I don't check this thread):
Improvised Shakespeare Company, Michael Che, Chris Gethard, Cristela Alonzo, Jerrod Carmichael, Jared Logan, Nikki Glaser, Deap Vally, Aoife O'Donovan, Eric Andre?
You missed those when they added the comedy lineup.
ya I noticed. I looked through the whole thing again. I was only paying attention to the top half at the time

I'd love to see Rodriguez as an addition, and checking his tour dates last night showed me that he's got a nice little gap of about a week during Bonnaroo.
Haha I'll take the blame . I like SS. They aren't amazing by any means, but they write good summer music and have a few really good tunes. Plus they remind me of high school, which is always fun. But if Atmosphere gets added, that's all my fault. Atmosphere is an amazing artist.
No, Atmosphere is an amazing group. Dude on the mic is Slug, the DJ is Ant and together they make up Atmosphere. You got the amazing part right though, what an amazing duo - don't think there could possibly be a addition (realistic ones anyway) that will make me happier then Atmosphere (assuming they actually are announced).
Edit: No, check that I'd still rather have a Pigeon John add - but I dont see that happening anytime soon.
Haha you don't have to lecture me on Atmosphere. If they play Roo, it'll be my 3rd time seeing them. His backing band does a great job too. His music translates so well live.

Seriously want them to return, but next year seems more viable
I'm with you Dave I caught some of their set at NOLA jazzfest some years ago and it wasn't for me. They're obviously doing something right and I am glad people that like them get to see them.

Steely dan just announced a show in my hometown in august and it looks like they are about to announce a full tour. That would be my dream add, i hope, i hope, i hope......

Sigh.. I love Steely Dan; but they would be minimum a Which Stage band. Their tickets are in the $150 a pop realm, I dream of it but have conceded it's near impossible. I feel the same way about King Crimson

I am very excited about the Slightly Stoopid add!!!!! They bring it live, and always put on an amazing show. I have no problem with California white boy reggae.(I am a white boy from California, after all.)
Also, what is this news about a Bluegrass tent?!?!?! I am hoping and praying for my fav local band from here "Old Man Markley" to be added. If you don't know them, check them out. "Newgrass".

You are effing kidding me. That would definitely be a dream add for me too but I'm just thrilled to hear they are doing something this year.

From NoamPikelny.com
"And speaking of festivals, I’m quite thrilled to be returning to Bonnaroo to be part of the unveiling of the new Bluegrass Situation Stage!"
It looks to be a themed tent a la Eugene Hutz's world music tent from a couple years ago with the Ed Helms superjam closing it out.

This. Is. Awesome.
edit: I must shamelessly plug my new favorite band that would rock at this stage..
Old Man Markley. Punk-->Bluegrass fusion, on Fat Mike's label. Just finished touring with Dropkick Murphy's. Their sound is mostly bluegrass, with a punk-rock attitude and heart-beat. They are definitely in the area of Bonnaroo around Bonnaroo time! If not at Roo, I beg everyone to check them out-- they will NOT be dissapointed.

Here's what Manders found out after e-mailing somebody:
Hi Alex!
Thanks for writing. We'll have our own stage at Bonnaroo this year (all day on Sunday, June 16) with five different acts ranging from bluegrass legends to young, progressive Americana musicians. We can't reveal the full lineup just yet (that will happen in early April) but if you stay tuned to our site and Bonnaroo.com we'll have a very special announcement soon.
