I agree with others that Death Grips is hard to classify, but I think they were rightfully classified as rap/hip-hop Matt & Kim are indie pop, more than rock, but it really doesn't matter. Close enough.
Would any of the EDM artists (besides Pretty Lights) be classified as dubstep, or incorporate it at all into their music? I've never been to an actual dubstep show but would like to experience one at 'Roo if possible. Just got into Knife Party (I really hope they get added) and it's beginning to change my mind about the genre.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong because I don't follow a lot of EDM, but I think Pretty Lights is stylistically the closest thing to dubstep on the line-up right now. All the EDM this year so far seems to be house and trip-hop heavy.
Very helpful list, makes it easier to wade into some of the more unknown artists for myself.
The only changes I might suggest would be maybe move Death Grips to punk? They're hard to classify, but in my mind, they lean a little more punk then hip hop. Either way, that's going to be a wild show! And maybe put Animal Collective in the Experimental/Psychedelic Rock category?
I agree on the Animal Collective move. They have next to no folktronica influence and only a small amount of trip hop (From Panda Bear).

I fixed it for you
Actual hipsters wouldn't be caught dead listening to these bands.
Hipsters made these bands big. Of course they don't like them now cause it's too mainstream amirite? But 4 years ago all the little hipsters were prancing around like OMG GUIZZE I ONLY LISTEN TO THIS UNDERGROUND UNHEARD OF BAND CALLED MUMFORD AND SONS.

Well, if I were to make a main genre list for just "Experimental" instead of "Experimental Rock", I feel like Bjork, Four Tet, et al would have to go there anyway, and it would just become too crowded and "catch all" to really aid in music discovery. Though I do concede that AC is more psych-folk than folktronica. I still feel pretty comfortable putting them in Bjork and Four Tet's company, as it may aid someone in discovering new music that may not be genre "exact" but aesthetically similar to a degree. I put a note next to their name in the OP nevertheless.
Also made other revisions. The xx is like at a very weird inbetween point with dream pop and indie pop for me.

Something I always loved about this thread in the past was that each band's name was also a link to their thread. That made it easy to delve right into their most suggested songs. If you've got some time, that would be a really great addition.

Yea...that was a bad part of the List to stick as Hipster Music. Mumford might be now that they went on MTV...But the rest of that list doesn't make it imo. If The Tallest Man On Earth is Hipster Music then i'm a converted Hipster.

Nicely done! Thanks for this man, it has helped me to pinpoint some new areas of interest. Not to be that guy but I do think your EDM section could be fine tuned a little:
